Mickey Gall vs. George Sullivan Set for UFC Fight Night 135

The UFC announced (via Journalstar.com two new bouts for August’s upcoming UFC Fight Night 35 event set for Lincoln, Nebraska. At welterweight, Mickey Gall will face George Sullivan. Also at bantamweight, Iuri Alcantara will face Cory Sandhagen.

Gall is looking to bounce back from his first Octagon defeat at the hands of Randy Brown last November. Meanwhile, Sullivan looks to recover from back-to-back defeats at the hands of Alexander Yakovlev and Niko Price.

Iuri Alcantara snapped a two-fight losing streak last February with a Performance of the Night knockout against Joe Soto. His opponent, Cory Sandhagen, knocked out Austin Arnett in his UFC debut last January at UFC on FOX 27.

UFC Fight Night 35 is set for August 25 at the Pinnacle Bank Arena. The event will be broadcast live on FS1. Prelims will be shown on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass. The fight card will be headlined by a lightweight bout of Justin Gaethje vs. James Vick. Here’s the updated card:
