UFC on ESPN 9 Fighter Salaries: Tyron Woodley Tops Payouts With $200,000

The disclosed fighter payrolls were released for last Saturday’s UFC on ESPN 9 card (via MMAWeekly). The event was held at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, with prelims and the main card being shown on ESPN and ESPN+.

Former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley topped the payroll for the evening with a disclosed $200,000 payout in his losing effort. His victorious opponent, Gilbert Burns, received $84,000 to show and another $84,000 for his unanimous decision victory over Woodley. Burns received an additional $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus on top of his $168,000 payout.

Elsewhere, Mackenzie Dern also received a Performance of the Night bonus in $50,000 for her submission victory over Hannah Cifers. Dern’s total payout, without the bonus, for her submission win was $66,000. Brandon Royval vs. Tim Elliott received Fight of the Night Honors, and both men received an additional $50,000 bonus.
