Veta Arteaga Looks Forward to ‘Scrapping’ With Denise Kielholtz at Bellator 205

Veta Arteaga spoke with MMAjunkie ahead of her fight with Denise Kielholtz at Bellator 205. Highlights are below:

On going toe-to-toe with Kielholtz: “I don’t mind to strike. That’s what I’m known for, too. I’m known for being a scrapper, so I’m excited to scrap with her.”

On possibly going to the ground: “Hey, if I wants to take it to the ground, or she want to take it to the ground, I showed in my last fight that I’m well-rounded. I’m looking to show that.”

On fighting in her hometown: “I’m so excited that I don’t have to travel. That’s one less thing I have to worry about.”

On her 2018 so far: “I said that 2018 was my year, and I really believe that. So far I’ve had a good start. I fought Emily, and had a great performance. And so, I feel if I just go with this momentum and take one fight at a time, I’ll eventually get a title shot.”
