Bryan Kristopowitz: How did you get involved with the short film Perps?
Lou Ferrigno: I was contacted by my agent and good friend Tina Presley. She told me about this new comedy short and I wanted to be a part of it.
BK: What was it like working with Perps director Alejandro Montoya Marin?
LF: Working with Alejandro was a joy considering we had so little time to shoot the film. He was so natural and open to any ideas. It was great.
BK: What was it like working with Tamas Nadas?
LF: Tamas was great and easy to work with. A real pro. The whole cast was great. I wish we had more time to work together.
BK: You’re well known for working in the action genre (The Incredible Hulk TV show, the Hercules movies, Cage) and the comedy genre (The King of Queens). Do you have a preference for either or is it all about the part and the material?
LF: Yes, as long as the material is solid and I can adapt my character to it I’m open to anything. Both genres are fun.
BK: What was it like working on The King of Queens?
LF: King of Queens was a blast. Loved having the chance to work with those iconic actors. I also loved filming in front of a live audience and the instant gratification of that situation.
BK: Any chance of a sequel to the awesome action movie Instant Death?
LF: I would love to do a sequel to Instant Death. It’s all about the script and raising the finances.
BK: Any upcoming projects you can tell us about?
LF: My upcoming projects are Guest House, a comedy with Billy Zane, and a horror film Cranial Sacral.
BK: What do you hope viewers get out of watching Perps?
LF: Laughs and fun. It’s a great short comedy. Viewers and my fans will love it.
