Bryan Kristopowitz: How did you get involved with Paranormal Attraction?

Brooklyn Haley: I knew Alex Hwang from previous projects, he asked me to audition for a few roles in the movie and he felt I fit “Sara Meyers” best.

BK: How did you approach your character of Sara Meyers?

BH: I read the script dozens of times and worked on a lot of character development to really get a feel for her character. She’s a strong, sweet girl with a rough past who wants a fresh start, and I tried to portray her as that.

BK: What was it like working with director Alexander T. Hwang?

BH: Working with Alex is always a blast! He is professional and truly passionate about film making which creates a great atmosphere. It’s always good vibes working with him and his team.

BK: What was it like working with both Nicole Cinaglia, who plays Evelyn, and Eden Shea Beck, who plays Kelly? Was it easy to form a bond with them?

BH: Working with Nicole and Eden was amazing as well, they are both such sweet, amazing women and phenomenal actresses! The chemistry with both of them was easy and natural. It was truly a blessing to have such an amazing team on this project.

BK: What was the hardest scene for you, as an actor, in Paranormal Attraction? What was the easiest?

BH: I think the hardest scenes on the film were the sexual ones personally, I’ve been acting for 11 years and I haven’t done many roles with sexual scenes but everyone made me feel safe and comfortable.

BK: Have you ever had any paranormal experiences in real life?

BH: I have felt some spiritual presence before from my brother and grandmother who have passed away, I truly believe they are my guardian angels and sometimes show me little signs they are still here. My mom also bought a condo in Indiana one time and we both felt there was a dark energy or spirit in it at first, luckily we were able to cast it out!

BK: Any moviemaking heroes?

BH: I would say my dad is my film making hero, he is so amazing and passionate about film making and I truly think he is one of the most amazing indie film makers. He is dedicated to safe, fun film- making and prioritizes taking care of everyone involved in his movies. Anyone who is lucky enough to work with him is bound to have a great experience.

BK: Do you enjoy working in the horror genre?

BH: I absolutely LOVE working in horror!! It’s so fun and exhilarating, I aspire to one day be known as a “scream queen”. Horror is definitely my favorite genre to film.
