Cannibal Holocaust Star Robert Kerman Dead At 71

Bloody Disgusting reports that Robert Kerman, star of the Ruggero Deodato’s controversial Italian horror film Cannibal Holocaust, has passed away at the age of 71. He played Professor Harold Monroe, who discovers the footage that reveals what happened to a film crew that met the cannibal tribe before him.

In addition to starring in one of horror’s most notorious films, Kerman also had a lengthy career in porn, appearing in over 100 titles including the infamous Debbie Does Dallas. His more mainstream credits include another horror classic, 1986’s Night of the Creeps. He also has appearances in No Way Out and Spider-Man, as well as other cannibal films Eaten Alive and Cannibal Ferox.
