Deadpool & Wolverine ‘Old Bubs’ Trailer Reveals the Return of a Classic Foe

Ryan Reynolds revealed a new trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine this week, revealing the return of a classic foe for the upcoming threequel. The new “Old Bubs” trailer reveals the return of actor Tyler Mane (Playing With Fire, Halloween) as Sabretooth, reprising the role for the first time since 2000’s X-Men film. Sabretooth is Wolverine’s longtime archenemy in the Marvel comics, having a shared history that goes back decades, and they were both test subjects in the Weapon X program. Liev Schreiber also portrayed Sabretooth in the prequel, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, in 2009.

Deadpool & Wolverine is directed by Shawn Levy from a script by Reynolds, Levy, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells, and Shawn Levy. It stars Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, Matthew Macfadyen, and Aaron Stanford. The sequel arrives on July 26.
