Disney+ Reveals Poster, Premiere Date For Obi-Wan Kenobi

Obi-Wan Kenobi is headed to Disney+, and he’ll be there before the summer starts. Disney+ released a new poster for the Disney+ limited series, which confirms a May 25th debut date. You can check out the poster below, which features Ewan McGregor reprising his role as the titular Jedi Master.

The announcement comes after the season finale of The Book of Boba Fett premiered Wednesday morning at midnight on the service. The Obi-Wan series will also star Hayden Christensen (reprising his role as Darth Vader), Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie. The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat—the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.
