Evil Comes Home in Bloody Trailer, Poster For Evil Dead Rise

The first trailer and poster for Evil Dead Rise has been unleashed, promising a bloody return to the iconic franchise. Warner Bros. Pictures released the trailer and key art for the new iteration of the horror franchise, and you can check it out below. The trailer, looks to be right in line with the franchise’s well-known predilections, depicts a family under siege when one of two sisters (Alyssa Sutherland) is possessed by a Deadite and carnage ensues.

The film is written and directed by Lee Cronin (The Hole in the Ground) and stars Alyssa Sutherland, Lily Sullivan, Gabrielle Echols, Morgan Davies, Nell Fisher, and Mia Challis. Releasing on April 21st, 2023, it is described as follows:

In the fifth Evil Dead film, a road-weary Beth pays an overdue visit to her older sister Ellie, who is raising three kids on her own in a cramped L.A. apartment. The sisters’ reunion is cut short by the discovery of a mysterious book deep in the bowels of Ellie’s building, giving rise to flesh-possessing demons, and thrusting Beth into a primal battle for survival as she is faced with the most nightmarish version of motherhood imaginable.
