Henry Cavill Officially Back As Superman For Future DCEU Films

It’s official: Henry Cavill is back as Superman in the DCEU. Following the release of Black Adam, the actor posted a video to Instagram announcing that he is back in the role and that he will be in future projects as the Man of Steel.
THR reports that the plan is for Cavill to star in at least one solo Superman movie with other potential films following. DC Films is currently getting an overhall under Michael De Luca and Pamela, the new heads at Warner Bros. Pictures.
Cavill has played Superman throughout the DCEU, starting with Man of Steel and continuing through Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League. It was uncertain if he would continue beyond that for a long time.
