More Season Three Notes and Spoilers For Young Rock

A lot of details about season three of NBC’s Young Rock have leaked in recent weeks, with news that Wrestlemania 1 will be featured, as well as the additions of Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart as characters. PWInsider has more notes on the production of the upcoming season, including more details on casting. Filming begins next month in Memphis.

Chavo Guerrero is once again working as the official wrestling coordinator.

With the show no longer filming in Australia, several personalities will be recast that had previously appeared, including Roddy Piper, Mankind, The Undertaker, Fred Blassie, and Lou Albano.

They are currently seeking actors to play Liberace (from his appearance at Wrestlemania 1) and Jeff Cohen, who played Chunk in The Goonies. He would be seen at a post-Wrestlemania 1 party.

One episode will look at Wrestlemania 13, which featured The Rock vs. The Sultan.
