New Stills From The Sandman Show Off Dream, Lucifer, and Matthew

Netflix’s long-awaited adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman arrives this year, and new stills offer us new looks at Dream, Lucifer, and Matthew. The official Twitter account for the TV series adaptation shared the new pics on Monday and you can check them all out below.

The Sandman stars star Tom Sturridge as Dream, the Lord of the Dreaming, and Gwendoline Christie as Lucifer, Ruller of Hell. The cast also includes Vivienne Acheampong (Lucienne), Boyd Holbrook (The Corinthian), Charles Dance (Roderick Burgess), Asim Chaudhry (Abel), and Sanjeev Bhaskar (Cain). It is arriving later this year and is described as follows:

A rich blend of modern myth and dark fantasy in which contemporary fiction, historical drama and legend are seamlessly interwoven, The Sandman follows the people and places affected by Morpheus, the Dream King, as he mends the cosmic — and human — mistakes he’s made during his vast existence.
