Scream VII Set For February 2026 Release
Paramount Pictures has set a release date of February 2026 for Scream VII. Neve Campbell and Kevin Williamson announced on Tuesday that the seventh film in the franchise will arrive on February 27th, 2026 as you can see below.
Williamson is set to direct the film, which underwent a host of turmoil late last year. Melissa Barrera was fired from the film over comments she made about the Israeli-Palestine conflict. It was confirmed shortly after that Jenna Ortega would also not be returning due to her filming commitments to Wednesday season two, and original director Christopher Landon announced that he had exited in December.
Thus far, Campbell is the only confirmed cast member for the seventh entry, reprising her role as Sidney Prescott after exiting the sixth film over a salary dispute. Spyglass is producing the film; plot details aren’t yet known.
The franchise has proved to be a profitable one since the fifth entry revived the series in 2022. Scream VI grossed $166.3 million worldwide against a $35 million budget.
