Tom Holland recently provided an update on the fourth Spider-Man MCU film, noting that meetings had begun before the WGA strike paused things. Holland spoke with Variety and revealed that he had been having meetings about the next film but paused them to stand with the WGA as they strike.
“I can’t talk about that, but I can say that we have been having meetings,” Holland said. “We’ve put the meetings on pause in solidarity with the writers. There’s been multiple conversations had, but at this point it’s very, very early stages.”
Holland’s comments come after producer Amy Pascal had said earlier this week at the premiere of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse that the fourth film was “in the process” but had been paused due to the strike.
No details have been revealed yet about the follow-up to Spider-Man: No Way Home, which would give Holland his fourth solo film as the character.
