Netflix has released its trailer for the Ubisoft-inspired Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix, and it features (oddly) Cody Rhodes among its characters. Netflix released the trailer on Wednesday for the anime series, which is based on several Ubisfot video game franchises. You can see the trailer below, which features a character clearly visually inspired by the WWE star right down to the neck tattoo, hair and the “Dream” tattoo on his right pec.

Rhodes does not appear to be voicing the character, as he is not on the cast list and the voice of the role doesn’t sound like him at all. That said, the character also does not appear to be in the series for a particularly long period of time either from what the trailer depicts. The cast list includes BALAK, Nathaniel Curtis, Daniel York Loh, Glenn Wrage, David Menkin, Courtney-Mae Briggs, Caroline Ford, Adi Shankar, Mark Ebulué, and Boris Hiestand.

The series is arriving on Netflix on October 19th and is described as follows:

The year is 1992. The country formerly known as the USA is now called Eden, a technocracy ruled by propaganda and corruption. Super-soldier Dolph Laserhawk has just been betrayed by the love of his life, his boyfriend Alex Taylor, and locked up in Eden’s off-the-grid maximum security prison, Supermaxx. Dolph is forced to lead a team of rebel outcasts on risky undercover missions under the order of the prison’s shadowy Warden. CAPTAIN LASERHAWK: A BLOOD DRAGON REMIX is an original animated series mixing alternative Ubisoft characters from beloved franchises such as Assassin’s Creed, Rayman, and Far Cry in a highly referenced homage to the early 90s.
