Trailer For Star Wars Series The Acolyte Takes Turn To the Dark Side

Disney has unveiled the trailer for their new Star Wars series The Acolyte, teasing a trip into the Dark Side in the High Republic-era. You can see the trailer below for the series, which is set 100 years before the events of Star Wars – Episode I: The Phantom Menace.

The preview gives us our first look at Amandla Stenberg’s character, who is apparently killing off Jedi, and the Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) tasked with investigating the matter.

The series arrives on June 4th with two episodes and also stars Carrie-Anne Moss, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Charlie Barnett, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rebecca Henderson, Dean-Charles Chapman and Joonas Suotamo. Leslye Headland created the series and serves as showrunner.
