Vince McMahon is working with NBCU for a new scripted wrestling drama. Deadline reports that NBCUniversal is developing a scripted drama titled Pinned, which is set within the world of a fictional wrestling promotion.

The series will be written and executive produced by Craig O’Neill (CSI: Vegas, MacGyver), with Fox Sports reporter Tom Rinaldi and WWE Chairman Vince McMahon also executive producing.

The series has a script sale from NBCU and is described as:

…an “adrenalized” upstairs-downstairs soap that gives a behind-the-scenes look at a fictional wrestling promotion and the “unforgettable” characters that populate it. Pinned offers a front-row seat into the eccentric wrestling culture and the mayhem that exists between the locker room and the boardroom.

The series is not currently set up at a specific NBCU network (like USA Network, NBC or SyFy) or streaming service (like Peacock), as has been the case for most of NBCU’s development projects.
