411’s WWE Sunday Night Heat Report 05.01.05
Hello everybody and welcome to Sunday Night HeAt! We come into the broadcast with Todd Grisham and Ivory waiting outside for the doors to open for Backlash! They treat us to a plug of Batista/HHH II as well as Hulk Hogan & Shawn Michaels Vs. Mohammad Hassan & Daivari. They then send us inside to the coach who plugs Edge Vs. Chis Benoit in the Last Mand Standing match, and then leads us into a video package of the feud. As we come out of the Video Package coach announces our main event, and it will pit Val Venis against “The Problem Solver” Tyson Tomko.

We’re back with the coach inside, as fans file in. We’re sent backstage with Lillian Garcia interviewing Christian and his problem solver, Christian says that he has a plan for tonight, but he’d like to run it by Lillian, and as she leans in he yells “It’s a secret!” HAHA! We then go back to coach who is laughing histerically, and sends us into a “Pedigree” package set to a viariation of Triple H’s theme performed by Rage Against the Machine.

We’re back outside with Ivory and Todd, this must be getting confusing. They plug how many Hulk-a-Maniacs in the crowd, we’re then treated to a promo video for the tag team match to night, from the beginning of Hassan’s WWE career, to last week’s RAW. And we’re backstage with Lillian Garcia interviewing Hassan and Daivari, she asks then for their thoughts Hassan says “Last week we beat the tag team champions, they proved that they can beat the legends”, then Daivari said something, IN ENGLISH! And I was so amazed I forgot what he said…

Coach welcomes us back, and brings us up to date on what’s gone on between Kane and Viscera/Trish. I still can’t figure out how to feel about Viscera’s sexual chocolate 2K5 gimmick, all I know is it’s disturbing, horribly, horribly, disturbing.

We’re back with Todd and Ivory informing us that Batista has just arrived, which would have been infinitely more effective if it hadn’t already gotten dark when they showed the footage that had been shot in the day. Then we’re treated to yet ANOTHER plug of the Legends Vs. Arab-Americans match, as well as Viscera Vs. Kane, the Last Man Standing match, the tag team turmoil match, the Intercontinental championship match, and finally HHH/Batista II. Our main event if up next. Damn, now I actually have to call a match.

HELLO LADIES! We’re back, and The King and JR are ready for our Main Event.
Here’s the lock up, and tomko backs intot he ropes and forces venis to break. They circle around, and Venis gets a go behind take down, and then another one, before Tomko breaks away. Tomko pretends to have lost his contacts, and he pretends to look for them, before pulling out brass knucks, and going to town on Venis with the refs back turned, he then hits a clotheline but only gets 2. Tomko hits the ropes, and tries a first drop with nobody home, and Venis makes his comeback, which ends in which he hits a spin out powerbomb for 2. val then locks in a full nelson, and slams him, then heads up for the Money Shot. He takes too long and then battle on the top, before Tomko gets pushed off, and Venis gets a small package off the top for 2. Tomko kicks out and hits a big boot, but Venis gets the ropes. They’re both up and tomko goes for a suplex, but Venis reverses into a fisherman suplex for 2. Tomko gets up and locks in a sleeper, but Venis breaks out, hits some stiff shots before being hit with a second boot, and that one gets the job done. No pun intended.
Winner: Tyson Tomko
