We get to see a VERY long package on the Longest Yard. And now it’s time for a great cruiserweight main event.
Nunzio Vs. Akio
Akio seems to have stolen Matt Hardy’s wrestling attire. Lock up. Akio drives him to the corner, and slaps Nunzio in the face. Nunzio then gets a great gut wrench take down, and a fireman’s carry, before taunting for a second too long and getting forced Akio into the corner, and met with some shots the gut. Nunzio hit’s the ropes, ducks Akio’s clothesline, and gets a hurricarana. Damn this is literally happening too fast to call. Akio knocks him to the apron, then hit’s a standing йmigrй to knock him to the outside, before giving him a Russian leg sweep into the barricade. Then Akio sends him back in inside, and locks in a rear naked choke. Nunzio breaks out and hit’s a series of clotheslines, before a big sidewalk slam, and a dropkick to the face of Akio. Akio gets up and sends Nunzio to the corner, runs at him, and is met with a kicks to the guy, and Nunzio hit’s the Sicilian slice. Akio kicks out of the pin attempt. Then Nunzio sends Akio to the corner, and Akio jumps up to the top rope and hit’s a beautiful moonsault plancha, which only earns him 2. Akio then has to argue with the referee about the near fall, and while he’s doing so Nunzio gets a backslide for the win.
Winner: Nunzio
And now I have to go back and edit that because I couldn’t take my eyes off this match and had to rely on my touch-typing ability, so if I miss anything, I apologize.
There you have it folks. One of the best Sunday Night HeAt main event I’ve ever seen, in complete seriousness. If you’re reading this, you probably missed it, in which case I pitty you, I really do. Anyway, I hope those of you who have or will order Judgement Day enjoy it, it looks like a good show, and I’ll see you next week.
