411’s WWE Sunday Night Heat Report 06.19.05

June 19, 2005 | Posted by Alex P.

Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Sunday Night HeAt. Tonight is a very special episode because we have the Luchadores and the debut of Kid Kash.

And here’s Maria, with no introduction so we can assume she will be a guest ring announcer tonight. 3rd guest ring announcer from the useless diva search, do you think Lillian has figured out the end is near?

Here’s our first superstar out it is none other than Tajiri! Wow, Maria isn’t half bad.

Tajiri Vs. Kid Kash

Kash pushes Tajiri, and dodges a high kick. Kash grabs a headlock right off the bat, Tajiri send him off the ropes, and is hit with a shoulder block and Kash goes for a quick pin. Tajiri gets up, and hits and arm drag hanging on into a crucifix pin variation. Kash kicks out, only to be sent to the corner. Kash vault him, then clubs the back, and stomps a mud hole in Tajiri, before locking in a pectoral stretch. Tajiri starts to power out, but he’s kneed in the back and Kash locks it in again. Tajiri finally breaks out, but Kash clubs him again, and locks in an abdominal stretch. Tajiri breaks out and hit’s a series of elbows to the back of Kash’s head, then sends him to the corner, and Kash jumps to the top rope, and hit’s a high moonsault, for 2. Kash then picks Tajiri up and hit’s a Falcon Arrow for another near fall. Kash, goes up to the top again and goes for a double axe handle, but Tajiri hit’s a stiff kick to the gut, followed by a stiffer kick to the head. Tajiri then hits Kash with a barrage of sick chops, then goes to whip him into the ropes, but it’s reversed and Tajiri is sent to the ropes to hit his handspring elbow. Tajiri then picks up Kash and sends him to the corner and lock in THE TARANTULA! Tajiri sets up the buzz saw kick, but Kash ducks it and hit’s a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Then heads to the top and goes for a frog splash, but Tajiri moves and hit’s the Buzzsaw kick for the win.

Winner: Tajiri

I gotta say that was one of my favourite HeAt matches I’ve seen. Really good showing by Kid Kash. They showed something different by going after a modified WWE style, that should impress management, and it sure as hell impressed me.

And we’re back with Coach and Todd leading us into a recap of John Cena’s first match on RAW, and the beating that ensued.

Comercials

Here’s our second match of the night, and 3rd ECW star.

Val Venis Vs. Simon Dean

Val Venis comes out right off the bat with a huge punch, then send him to the ropes and hit’s a knee, then a side Russian leg sweep. Val Venis then picks up Dean, and smashes him face into the buckle, Val goes to do it again, but is fired off and hit’s the buckle chest first. Dean then hit’s a sick clothesline to the back of the head to gain the advantage. Simon then hit’s a kick to the solar-plexus and uses leverage from the ropes for a big stomp. Simon then grabs a headlock and punches Venis in the face and stomps away, before hitting a leg drop for 2. He then drives Venis into the corner and chokes him with his foot, before getting a headlock and hitting another shot the face. Dean then goes for a suplex, but Venis blocks in and gets a Small Package, but Simon kicks out and beats on Venis to gain the advantage. Dean then gets a hammerlock and leads into a Koji clutch, then switches it into a quick pin. Venis kicks out but is cut off with a knee to the gut, and is forced into the corner. Dean sends him across to the other corner, and eats boot. Venis comes back with a series of right hands and a back elbow. Venis then gets him in a headlock and returns the favor with a right hand, and Dean stumbles back into the corner and is met with a clothesline. Venis goes for another one but Dean ducks and hit’s a kick to the gut and goes for an irish whip, but Venis reverses it and hit’s a half nelson slam and goes up and hit’s the money shot for the win.

Winner: Val Venis

I’d say I was outraged that Val Venis is still on HeAt but I think he’s good for the young guys, he’s a veteran, and he has the ring skills to cary then through a good match.

There’s a recap of the Diva Search auditions before we got into commercials. I know I should hate this because its taking up wrestling time but DAMN!

Commercials

We’re back on HeAt and Todd and Coach send us into a recap of Kurt Angle’s debut on RAW as well as his confrontation with HHH, Batista, and Shawn Michaels. They then let us know that Kurt Angle and Batista will face off tomorrow on RAW, and that he will be facing Shawn Michaels at Vengeance.

We’re back and the Heartthrobs are in Mid-Entrance and Antonio’s face seems to have healed up.

The Headthrobs (Romeo and Antonio) Vs. The Superheroes (Rosey and The Hurricane)

Hurrican goes behind Romeo right off the bat, and Romeo switches it, only for Hurricane to turn it into a headlock, and then into and arm wrench, followed up by a drop toe hold, but Romeo drives Hurricane back into the corner and tags in Antonio. Hurricane gives Antonio and arm drag followed up by another and he holds on and turns it into and arm wrench and tags in Rosey who gives it a boot before locking in an arm wrench of his own. Antonio breaks out and goes for an Irish Whip but Rosey dead-weights him and forces him to go for a hip toss, Rosey manages to to stay planted and locks in another arm wrench, throws him down and leg drops it. He then picks up Antonio and goes for a back drop, but Anotonio sunset flips him, and Rosey sits out and gets 2, then tags out to Hurricane who hit’s a leg lariot and follows up with a grounded head scissor. Romeo comes in to break it up, and Hurricane sends him out, then Antonio after him, and then hit’s a flipping senton to the outside (technical names are my thing, get used to it).

Commercials

We come back with Antonio and Hurricane in the ring, and Rosey on the outside, The Heartthrobs beat on Rosey on the outside, before sending him in, as the referee send the Hurricane to the apron. Antonio goes for a pin on Rosey but only gets 2. Antonio pick shim up and hit’s a right hand and tags out to Romeo, they double team for a while before Antonio is send out and Romeo gets a 2 count on Rosey before tagging out. Antonio locks him and front face lock, and Rosey picks him up and pushes him gradually back towards the Hurricane, he finally back body drops Antonio before tagging out to The Hurricane who cleans house. He finishes it off with a blockbuster on Romeo before sending him to the outside. Rosey comes in and slams Anotnio before sitting on the top rope so Hurricane can hit a splash off of his shoulders for the win.

Winners: The Superheroes
