411’s WWE vs. ECW Head to Head Report 6.07.06

WWE…the power is back.

Foley gives the WWE troops a pep talk. He says they are there to show ECW what they are all about. Rey says this is their house and they will take them down.

We see Paul E giving the ECW troops the pep talk. Justin Credible is handing out Kool aid as they all chant ECW! I am kidding about the kool aid, kind of.

This is sweet, they have the GIANT WWE entrance, and this little ass “classic” ECW entrance beside it with another way to the ring from it. PERFECT! JR and King welcome us to the show and King is excited to show those “clowns” how it is done. STYLES AND TAZZ are there too at the rouge announce table.

They hype up the battle royal, and Cena vs. Sabu in an “EXTREME RULES” match. Tazz says King is lucky that he isn’t beating his ass right now, and to be prepared for Sunday.

Rey Mysterio © vs. Rob Van Dam

They shake hands and we are off. Go behind by Rey, leg trip and then misses a leg drop and they both are up and stand off. They both kick each other, and they RVD presses Rey, drops him and gets a standing moonsault and celebrates. Rey dropkicks RVD, then misses a 619. RVD springs in, but Rey dropkicks him and he falls to the floor. Rey misses a baseball slide, RVD has him and drops him over the barrier. RVD goes up and falls. Then goes up again and Rey moves and RVD misses the leg drop. RVD is in the front row and Rey gets a SRPINGBOARD into the front row! We head to a commercial @ 3:00.

Back from commercial @ 6:01 and Rey gets a kick to RVD. RVD is able to crotch him on the top rope, goes up top…and gets a side kick taking Rey to the floor. RVD en gets a leg drop to Rey on the apron. Back in the ring and RVD covers for 2. To the corner and an Irish whip, reversal and Rey misses as RVD sidesteps him. RVD goes for and gets a chair and gets the running Van Damninator in the corner. RVD covers for 2. RVD has Rey, Irish whip and RVD gets the chair again. Summersault, up top goes RVD and Rey up as well…BULLDOG TO RVD ON THE CHAIR! 1…2…NO! Rey then misses a springboard leg drop on RVD. RVD lays the chair on Rey, up top he goes…Rey moves the chair and FROG SPLASH CONNECTS anyway. 1…2…3!

Winner: RVD @ 10:52 via pin

Styles says that is what will happen to Cena Sunday. RVD celebrates and then goes to help up Rey. He then raises Rey’s hand and gives him his belt as we see the ECW locker room all excited. RVD goes over and celebrates with Styles and Tazz.

We see clips on Monday night and Randy Orton’s attack on Kurt Angle.

Back from commercial and Kurt Angle makes his way out to the ring with a slightly remixed theme song.

Angle has the mic and says people may think that he’d be upset about what Orton did. But he wasn’t. 2-months ago he broke his ankle, and to be honest with us, he loved it. Orton squealed like a pig and that was the all time favorite injury he caused. He is glad Orton answered his challenge, because at ONS, they will face off for the first time ever. This will be a new Kurt Angle. No, this will be ECW’s Kurt Angle. That Angle doesn’t take SHIT!

Orton is out now with a mic. Is that supposed to scare me Kurt? To tell you the truth, I kind of feel sorry for you. You went from WrestleMania, the main event, to ECW. It is like going from a blockbuster to porn. Granted, ECW fans love porn because it is the closest they will come to real sex. But I want to reach the top. Last year I went to Smackdown, and now a year later, one expired contract later I will be facing you. But Kurt, you’ll be facing Raw’s Randy Orton.

Angle says this is a new ECW, a new breed unleashed. For the first time I don’t have to worry about offending people. All I have to worry about is kicking ass. I will give you an example. This Sunday at ONS, I will break your arms, legs and neck!

Orton says to listen to him, you broke my ankle. If you wouldn’t have I would have been world champion. But I had to rehab and worry about paying you back. This is my chance, and you may think this is a coincidence, but it isn’t. It all happens for a reason. This is about my destiny. You may be the new face of ECW, but I will use all of my rage to beat you with in an inch of your life. All the excitement of ECW will die, the success will fail because it is my destiny to take ECW to its knees. I will single handedly kill the legend of ECW.

Tonight we will see Edge vs. Dreamer in an EXTREME RULES MATCH!

We see Mickie James walking as well as JAZZ WALKING! The bitch is back and they face next!

Lock up and a wristlock by Mickie. Jazz counters and gets an arm bar. Forearms by Jazz, off the ropes and Jazz with a cartwheel and kicks to Mickie. Mickie goes to the floor, Jazz follows with a Thez press off the apron. Chops to Mickie and back in the ring they go. Jazz misses a corner splash, Mickie misses a kick and Jazz with the Jazz Factor for 2 as Mickie gets the ropes. Eye poke by Mickie, primal scream DDT by Mickie and that’s all.

Back from commercial and Todd is with John Cena. We see the beat down from Monday night. Cena says what we saw makes tonight and Sunday even more important. The WWE title is on the line at an ECW PPV. What that means is if RVD wins, it goes to ECW. This title, the title that Bruno, Hogan, Stone Cold held will be gone and made the ECW title. So that means every WWE fan will recognize me as the biggest goat in WWE history. That some pressure. There won’t even be any WWE fans there, just ruthless and aggressive ECW fans. So lets say I win, standing tall and holding the title high. If that happens I will be in the biggest riot ever. I could complain, or I could lose some sleep and wonder about my ass whooping. But I will fight like a man and tonight I make a statement. Sabu, I fear no one. Understand, you have pissed off the wrong son of a bitch…BOOYA!

Paul E is out to the ring now. He thanks the fans, this is overwhelming being in the middle of ECW’s rebirth. Next week on Sci-Fi it will be a new breed unleashed as ECW comes back to TV live. I have to tell you my heart is pumping. It won’t be all the old ECW, it will be a whole lot more. But this Sunday it begins. He runs down the card:

Big Show now pep talks the WWE locker room. Angle betrayed them and is out for himself. Show unites the brands and says it is all about WWE. They need to show the world that ECW has no clue what they are in for!

20-Man WWE vs. ECW Battle Royal: WWE: Big Show, Randy Orton, Mark Henry, Tatanka, Shelton Benjamin, Matt Hardy, Fit Finlay, Carlito, Lashley, Edge

ECW: Stevie, Al Snow, Sandman, Balls, Justin Credible, Tommy Dreamer, Kurt Angle, Tony Mamaluke, Little Guido and Terry Funk.

It’s pandemonium to begin! Mark Henry is tossed! Funk tosses Matt Hardy. Dreamer beats down Shelton as Edge stands on the floor. Show tosses Guido. Dreamer tosses Tatanka. Sandman dropkicks Carlito and eliminates him. Edge then comes in and tosses Mamaluke. Orton and Edge toss Dreamer and Edge laughs as we head to a commercial @ 2:17.

Back from commercial @ 5:30 as Edge still refuses to get into the ring. Edge on the apron and beats on Credible. He then pulls out Funk with Finlay’s help. Finlay then tosses Credible. Al has head and misses Shelton and gets kicked in the head and eliminated. Show has head and tosses it on Al. Balls, Sandman and Angle are left in the ring, but Balls then gets tossed. Angle tosses Lashley. Sandman gets beat down by Show and Orton while Shelton beats down Angle as we head to a commercial @ 8:13.

Back from commercial @ 11:10 as Sandman tries to battle back. He’s tossed and Edge is still on the floor. Angle tosses Shelton as Finlay, Orton and Show are left, as well as Edge. Belly to belly on Finlay. One for Orton. GOOZLE by Show! Angle escapes and gets the Angle Slam! Finlay levels him and then gets a clothesline. He tries to toss Angle…but Angle with uppercuts to Finlay. He then catapults Finlay and tosses him. Edge is in…but Angle gets an overhead belly to belly and tosses him. Orton sneaks up from behind Angle and tosses him. Orton and Show are left…but SHOW RIPS HIS SHIRT OFF TO REVEAL AN ECW SHIRT! CHOKE SLAM ON ORTON! He tosses him and wins!

Winner: The Big Show and ECW @ 14:20

Angle is amazed and comes back to the ring. They smile and hug…TO THE EXTREME! Show says that there is nothing stopping them now.

Back from commercial with the ECW locker room celebrating with Show. They toast beers and Show says ECW! They all cheer and drink. WELLNESS~!

Edge on the mic, he says Mick knows all about Hardcore. Edge has a surprise and they show a Cactus promo from 1995 ECW, one of the Anti-Hardcore promos!

Edge w/Foley and Lita vs. Tommy Dreamer w/Terry Funk

Edge has a chair and Dreamer a barbed wire board. Dreamer chases Edge out of the ring. He follows and misses with the wire. Edge with rights, but Dreamer rams him to the steel steps. Back in the ring the go, Dreamer has the trashcan of fun! Street sign to Edge. Lita grabs Dreamer, Edge nails him with the sign now. Edge has an EXTREME COOKIE SHEET and nails Dreamer. Edge sets up the trashcan, but Dreamer with a neck breaker. Dreamer with the chair, off the ropes and a reversal and Edge with the drop toehold of doom on the chair. Trashcan lid shot to Dreamer. Elbow drop with the lid gets 2. Edge with the implant DDT on the trashcan. Covers for 2. Rights by Edge, Irish whip and a LOW BLOW by Dreamer. Dreamer sets Edge up top…Tree of woe! NUT STOMP by Dreamer! Dreamer has the chair and lays it in front of Edge…running dropkick by Dreamer! Dreamer to the floor and he and Funk get a table! Dreamer sets it up, as Styles bashes the Leprechaun! Dreamer sets Edge up top…he follows…chops to Edge. Lita is in and nails Dreamer with the Kendo stick. Funk has Lita but Foley is in with barbed wire around the throat of Funk! Edge has Dreamer…powerbomb try…but Dreamer back drops him and EDGE ALMOST DIES LANDING ON HIS HEAD AND MISSING THE TABLE! Dreamer has Edge…Spicoli Driver through the table for 2 as Lita nails Dreamer again. Dreamer grabs her…powerbomb try but Edge gets the spear and pins Dreamer.

Winner: Edge @ 6:56 via pin

Funk and Foley battle on the floor as Funk busts him up legit over the left eye.

Back from commercial and Foley is in the ring, low light and bloody. “Where the hell do any of you get off telling me I sold out? Where do you find the nerve to call me a whore? You think I hate ECW? I loved that place. I LOVED THAT PLACE. But ECW didn’t love me back. She was like the girl I can’t let go, but the one that makes me sick when I see her. She wanted too much blood, heart and my life. So I left, and I found fame and fortune in WWE. Paul was right, there is only one difference between me and Dreamer, I’m a whore and he’s not. 7-years ago I pulled a sock from my pants, made Vince laugh and I got the chance. All Dreamer has is heart, pride and ECW. I want to tell Edge that I rewatched out match, the greatest of all time. Maybe it wasn’t as good as I thought. Maybe Edge you and I will have to top it, be sicker than ever to walk into the cesspool that is the Hammerstein ballroom, with those bloodthirsty fans. Dreamer can do everything I can do, only with more passion. He and Funk will bludgeon us. Funk is the greatest I ever saw. If all you see is an old man, you are wrong. He gives concussions and can use weapons like no man ever has. He is in pain everyday, looking for one great last match. I blew him up in Japan and he hunted me. I set him on fire and he hugged me. He doesn’t do that anymore. I don’t want your arm Funk, Dreamer; I had the guts to go to WWE. SHUT UP! Because when I go to ONS, Edge and I are ready to take the beating, to exercise the sick whore that is ECW. I want he out of my life. I went off Cells, through tacks and burning tables. THAT IS NOTHING COMPARED TO THE HORRORS I WILL UNLEASH! GOD DAMN YOU ECW! I will stake the hearts of you heroes. You took everything, you threw it away. When I walk into the ring as a WWE legend, you Funk and Dreamer…will learn about loss. Have a nice day…”

King and Tazz talk shit and King calls on Tazz. Tazz levels him and THEY BRAW! Tazz yells, “Come on mother fucker!” Styles tells them to let them fight as security comes out. Jr and Styles almost get into it as well.

Back from commercial and they have referees separating the announce tables. Tazz and Lawler still talk a lot of shit as we get a video about Cena vs. RVD.

John Cena © vs. Sabu w/Chair

Rights by Cena right away! He takes Sabu down and then gets a back elbow. Cover gets 2 by Cena. More rights to Sabu and then rams him to the corner. Rights again by Cena, suplex by Cena and a cover for 2. Rights again, and then clubbing shots to the back. Boot by Sabu, but Cena gets a belly-to-belly, kinds for 2. Boot by Cena and then more rights. Cena chokes out Sabu now. Irish whip and Sabu hits hard. LOW BLOW to Cena and Sabu tosses him to the floor. Sling shot senton by Sabu and he then goes for his chair. SMASH MOUTH to Cena. Back into the ring and another smash mouth by Sabu. TRIPLE JUMP MOONSAULT by Sabu gets 2. He sets the chair and gets the air Sabu in the corner for 2. Standing Arabian Face buster by Sabu and Cena rolls to the floor. Sabu rams Cena to the ring steps. Sabu then rams him to the WWE announce table. Leg drop on the table by Sabu. Back into the ring they go and Sabu covers for 2. Sabu sets the chair again, Air Sabu is caught and Cena turns it into the FU! STFU on Sabu and here comes Big Show!

Winner: Cena @ 6:08 via DQ
