-Keri Hilson is here to sing America The Beautiful.
-So that you guys know, Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan got bumped to the pre-show. The match, which was made a lumberjack match, “got out of hand” and was made a battle royal. The Great Khali won that match. Yeah… Such a shame, both guys are very good, and I was expecting them to deliver a good match here.
-We get the opening video and a special video announcing The Rock.
-The Rock makes his way out in front of the live crowd. He soaks in the crowd a bit, and then heads to the ring. The setup is pretty sweet as usual. Rock in the ring now, and the crowd loves him. “FINALLY…The Rock, has come back…to Atlanta! And FINALLY, the Rock has come back to WrestleMania.” He promises that this will be the most memorable WM of all time. The electricity is in the air, can you feel it? Taste it? SMELL IT? We get some Cena sucks chants now. He says that they are making history, and now, they will do something special and have fun. When the Rock says Wrestle, the people say Mania! They do so, and Rock says he has goose bumps. He discusses Cena trying to figure out what Fruity Pebble shirt he will wear tonight, and we get a light Fruity Pebbles chant. Rock says this will get good, and he takes a drink of the people’s water. He then says YABBA, and the crowd says DABBA. Rock does the millions deal, puts over WM, and says the event is hosted by the jabroni beating, pie eating, yadda, yadda yadda, brama bull, tonight, it is bigger than Christmas, and he is bringing it all over Atlanta. Rocky chants now. Rock has everyone stand and assume the position for “If you smell what the Rock is cooking.”
-We get a WrestleMania video package.
-Michael Cole, Josh Matthews and Jerry Lawler are your announcers.
-The Spanish Announce table is back!
World Title Match: Edge © w/Christian vs. Alberto Del Rio w/Brodus Clay
And here we go. They stand off, lock up and to the corner they go. They break, and Del Rio shoves Edge. Slap by Edge, rights follows. Off the ropes, hip toss by Edge and the he fires back with a kick to the injured arm of Edge. To the corner, boots by Del Rio. Off the ropes, Edge tosses Del Rio to the floor. Edge misses a baseball slide, and Del Rio slams Edge into the barricade. Del Rio then slams Edge to the steps, and back in the ring and Del Rio covers for 2. He goes to work on the arm of Edge, to the ropes and Del Rio ties up the arm and works over Edge. Edge rolls to the floor, Del Rio follows, and slams Edge off the announcers table, back in and a cover for 2. Del Rio works the arm again, kicks Edge to the mat and he charges, Edge moves and Del Rio flies to the floor. Edge hits a flip dove onto Del Rio on the floor. The ref counts, the re enter the ring and Del Rio continues to work the arm. Off the ropes, they collide and both men are down. Back up, big boot by Edge and Del Rio is down. Edge is slow to follow up, forearm off the ropes. Another, and the flapjack for 2. Del Rio with an arm breaker, looks for the cross arm breaker, countered and Edge covers for 2. To their feet, Edge to the corner, side steps Del Rio, roll up, roll through by Del Rio and into the cross arm breaker! Edge manages to get the ropes. To the apron, stun gun by Edge and he heads up top. Del Rio over, JUMPS TO THE TOP AND GETS THE ENZIGURI! That gets 2 as Rodriguez pulled Edge’s foot off the ropes. Christian attacks, but Del Rio nails him and Clay with the fall away slam. Edge rolls up Del Rio for 2. DDT by Edge, and he now looks for the spear. Del Rio counters, Clay slams Edge to the post and Del Rio gets the cross arm breaker! Edge fights, tries to keep the arms locked, but Del Rio locks it in and Edge struggles. He rolls, stacks up Del Rio and gets a 2 count. Edge with his wacky sharp shooter variation, Del Rio fights now, Christian takes out Clay on the floor. Del Rio continues to fight, escapes and SPEAR by Edge! 1…2…3!
Solid opener, but I expected more. Not bad at all, but also, I felt Del Rio should have won.

-After the match, Edge kicks at Del Rio’s car. He then drops elbows on the roof of the car. WOOOOOO! Christian now has a crowbar and a pipe. Christian holds off Del Rio as Edge scratches up the car and breaks out windows. Del Rio may be crying here, poor guy.
-We get a video for Tough Enough.
-Cole puts himself over as being in the main event, and that he will beat Lawler.
-Rey has a Captain America style outfit on tonight.
Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes
Rey attacks and tries to remove Cody’s hood. Head scissors by Rey, kicks follow but then a clothesline by Rhodes. He removes his hooded ring jacket and goes after Rey’s knee brace. Hard whip to the corner by Rhodes, kicks by Rey, and then Rhodes head butts hi with the mask. Rhodes covers for 2. Stomps by Rhodes, and into the camel clutch he goes, humbling Rey. Rey escapes, off the ropes and a head scissors, counted and Rhodes with the Alabama slam for 2. Rhodes slams Rey down, goes after the knee brace again, but decides to work over Rey some more. Rhodes now works the nerve pinch, Rey to his feet, rights to escape and a back elbow connects. Rhodes counters the head scissors, Rey on the apron, up top and Rhodes head butts Rey with his mask. STALLING Superplex by Rhodes! That gets a cover for 2. Rights by Rhodes, he yells at Rey about his face, and then a knee to the back. Cross Rhodes countered, and Rey with an arm drag sending Rhodes to the floor. Rey up and a baseball slide dropkick. Rey now misses another, and gets the head scissors to Rhodes to the apron. Rey rolls him into the ring, up top again, seated senton follows. Rey with a roll up for 2. Kicks to the legs by Rey, to the corner, Rey onto Rhodes, shoves him off and kicks by Rey. Wheelbarrow countered into a German by Rhodes and that gets 2. Rey into the RANA off the ropes, Rhodes set, 619 try caught, and a head butt by Rhodes. Catapults Rey into the ropes, and covers for 2. Rhodes after the knee brace again, lays the boots to Rey. Rhodes continues to pull at the knee brace, and remove sit and tosses it to the floor. Rey up top, moonsaults onto a standing Rhodes for 2. Rey tries to remove Rhodes’ mask, kicks by Rey, and Rhodes’ mask is off. Head scissors by Rey, 619 connects. He heads up top, leaps and countered, Rye off the ropes with a kick to the face and that gets 2. Rey puts on Rhodes’ mask, and a head butt to Rhodes. Another. Knee by Rhodes, misses a charge and Rey up top, flying head butt by Rey! That gets 2. Rhodes to the floor, has Rey’s knee brace and KILLS him with it as Rey tried a dive. Rhodes grabs Rey, cross Rhodes! 1…2…3. I guess that makes Cody the Avenger.
The work played off of the angle that they had been building, and I really liked the match. They work well together, and we will get more matches, since Cody won.

-We see Snoop Dogg backstage with Teddy Long. Some WWE stars will be auditioning for Snoop tonight. Regal is first and bombs. Khali and Beth Phoenix sing next, and fail. ZACK RYDER busts out a tune, and Roddy Piper is there lays out Ryder. Masters and Yoshi are next, dear lord this is bad. Hornswoggle appears, and Snoop likes him. Teddy says Hornswoggle can’t talk, and they leave. When all alone, Hornswoggle with the Bellas busts out his rhyming skills.
The Corre (Barrett, Jackson, Gabriel & Slater) vs. Big Show, Kane, Santino & Kofi Kingston
Santino and Slater to begin, and Slater beats down Santino. Santino back with the hip toss, tags Show in and clotheslines for Slater. Big backdrop by Show, and then the corner splash follows. He calls for the chokeslam, but Jackson levels hi with the clothesline. Kane in to make the save, it breaks down as they all get involved and Kofi hits a big dive onto the floor. Santino sets for the cobra, and nails Slater. KO shot by Show and that is all.

-The faces celebrate after their hard fought victory.
-Rock talks with Eve backstage, he wants some of that pie. She feels his muscles, and they talk about the magic of the week. Rock say she creates magical moments, and says whoever comes around the corner, he will give them a magical moment with who ever they are. MAE YOUNG APPEARANCE. Rock gives her a hug, and he calls her a DIVASAUROUS. She wants the People’s strudel. Rock says she should crave Moses’ strudel. Rock introduces Eve, like Mae’s friends Adam and Eve. Mae slaps Rock’s ass. Rock says no one else could have come out, and then Austin appears. They stand off, exchange pleasantries, and Austin says he is ready to kick ass tonight. They shake and stare down, and part ways.
CM Punk vs. Randy Orton
(Ryan, McGillicutty & Otunga are banned from ringside)
Orton’s knee is still taped up, selling the injury from Punk. Punk shoots the single leg right away, trying to work the injured leg. Orton sends Punk to the floor, follows and lands uppercuts. A whip, Punk runs up the stairs and then dropkicks them into Orton’s knee. Punk rolls Orton back into the ring, goes up top and gets a cross body for 2. Punk now mocks Orton, and then lays the boot to the knee. Orton fires back, 3.0 back breaker connects, but he still favors the knee. Punk gets a stunner like move on Orton’s leg, and goes back to work on the knee. Punk nails the corner knee, and then cannon balls down onto the knee, and covers for 2. Punk sets Orton up top, and into the tree of WHOA. Punk up top, stands on the knee, and then drops down onto Orton and covers for 2. Punk calls for the GTS, pulls Orton up, has Orton up, circles with Orton, who elbows out and tries an RKO, countered and into a pin try by Punk for 2. Punk up top now, but takes too long and Orton crotches him. Orton looks over the crowd, up to the 2nd rope and grabs Punk. All the way up top….SUPERPLEX connects! That only gets 2. Punk rolls to the floor, pulls Orton down and slams him knees off of the ring post. Punk now pulls a page from Bret Hart and does the corner post assisted figure four. Punk breaks, back into the ring, leg drop into a leg tie and hammers down on Orton’s knee. Punk rips at the knee tape of Orton, but Orton frees himself, to his feet, and gets a clothesline and a snap slam. Thesz Press by Orton, Angle slam follows and Orton covers for 2. Orton grabs Punk, but Punk with kicks and a leg sweep. SWEEP THE LEG! Anaconda vice by Punk, center of the ring, Orton struggles to escape. Orton is able to roll and into the ropes they go, and Punk has to break. Punk to the apron, grabs Orton and Orton fires back. Slams Punk into the post, hangman’s DDT by Orton! Orton sets, pounds the mat, stands and looks at Punk. He wants to punt him, and backs to the corner. Orton charges, but his leg gives out on him. Punk laughs, gets to his feet and stares down Orton. Orton tries the KO, but Punk backs out of it and rolls to the floor. Punk again smiles at Orton, to the apron and springs into the ring INTO AN RKO! 1…2…3!
This was a smartly worked match, very good chemistry these guys have, and I feel that they could do some great things together in the future. Best match thus far.

-Backstage, Mean Gene is with the Rock. Rock says Cena’s #1 fan is here to confront him, and Rock turns to see who it is. It is Pee Wee Herman. Yup. Rock makes fun of Pee Wee, and then says he has potential. He asks If he wants to be a an on Team Bring It, or part of Cena’s fruit loop troop. Gene is wearing purple Cena gear, and hilarity ensues. Pee Wee says he wants on Rock’s team. He then does Rock’s “can you smell” catchphrase. Yup.
-They bring out the 2011 Hall of Fame class. Shawn Michaels gets his own special entrance after they announce the class.
-Booker T and Jim Ross are out to announce now.
-Cole comes out in amateur wrestling gear, including the Rick Steiner approved headgear. He mocks Jim Ross, and Lawler. He says they are both overweight, overrated and over the hill. Cole then says Lawler has been in wrestling longer than Cole has been alive, and tonight is his first WM. Cole then says it is his first WM. When tonight is over, JR, you can go back to making bad BBQ sauce (BULL SHIT I SAY) and Lawler will be embarrassed, and Steve Austin will raise Cole’s hand in victory. And then everyone will proclaim Cole the NEW Mr. WrestleMania.
-Dear Lord, I ask for a fireball, a fist drop and a jumping 1970s piledriver from Mr. Lawler. Love, Larry.
-Swagger and Austin (on four-wheeler) make their entrances. Cole hides in the Colemine.
-Lawler is back to his proper theme music. This man looks so fucking happy to be walking to the ring at a WrestleMania, and I think it kicks ass.
Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole w/Jack Swagger
(Steve Austin is Special Referee)
Cole warms up in his Colemine, and Austin tells him to get into the ring. Cole tries to stall, saying he isn’t ready, and Austin says ring the bell. Lawler and Swagger battle, and Lawler slams him to the barricade. He then goes after Cole, and Cole begs off. Cole wants to talk about it and puts his hand through the hole to shake with Lawler. Lawler grabs it and pulls Cole into the glass repeatedly! Cole’s face is mashed against the glass and Lawler climbs into he Colemine! Lawler beats his ass in the Colemine while Cole yells for help. Lawler now pulls Cole out to the floor and slams him into the Raw Gm podium. Cole rolled into the ring, Swagger attacks Lawler and lays him out. Cole stands in the ring, and then gets a baseball slide to Lawler. Swagger then attacks again with he ankle lock as Cole distracts Austin. Cole then tells Austin to count out Lawler, and he begins counting. Lawler to his feet, and rolls into the ring. Cole steps on the ankle as Swagger gives directions. Cole wraps the leg in the ropes, and Austin counts, but Cole pulls away. Cole in control, pulls Lawler to the corner, and then runs and kicks at the leg of Lawler. Cole does it again, and then sets Lawler in the corner. He tries the Swagger bomb, almost falls off the ropes, and then to the bottom rope because he is afraid, and splashes onto Lawler for 2. Cole goes back to the leg, and lightly slams the leg to the mat. Cole celebrates, and slams the knee of Lawler to the mat. Cole and Swagger celebrate and the crowd chants boring, they have turned on the match. Cole drops the strap, and lock sin the ankle lock. Lawler fires up, rolls and kicks Cole away. Cole tries to escape, Lawler grabs him and lays the boots to him in the corner. Swagger throws in the towel for Cole, and Austin picks it up and wipes his sweat off and hrows it back at Swagger. Swagger in the ring…

WHAM…
STUNNER!
Cole sees that Swagger is out, and then begs off to Austin. Cole then gets violent when Austin doesn’t care, and Lawler with big rights to Cole. Rights on Cole as he is on the mat, just punishing him. Dropkick by Lawler. Austin about pisses himself laughing, and Lawler to the second rope, points to the sky, drops the strap, and the Memphis fist drop connects and Lawler pulls Cole up! Ankle lock by Lawler, Cole taps, Austin asks if he gives up, Cole taps like, 400 times here, and that’s the match.
As much as I liked the angle, this went WAY TOO LONG. Lawler should have just beat his ass, they lost the crowd and it felt way longer than it was.

-Swagger carries Cole to the back. Austin and Lawler have a beer bash, and Booker T enters the ring. SPINAROONIE. STUNNER for Booker T.
-The Raw GM chimes in, and Josh reads the email. The referee got involved in the match, therefore, Jerry Lawler has been DQ’d and Michael Cole is now the winner of the match. Cole and Swagger celebrate on the ramp. Lawler is pissed and tosses Matthews in the ring. STUNNER for Matthews.

-Time for HHH vs. Taker.
-HHH, accompanied by guys with shields, comes out to For Whom The Bell Tolls, which then goes into his theme music.
-The gong hits, and Taker enters to Johnny Cash.
No Holds Barred Match: Triple H vs. The Undertaker
They stare down center ring, back off to the corners and here we go. HHH charges in with rights, to the corner and lights up Undertaker. Undertaker shoves him away, and then tosses HHH to the floor. Undertaker follows, and they brawl on the floor. Undertaker slams HHH to the steps, and then dismantles the Spanish Announce Table. Welcome back guys. HHH then spears Undertaker through the Colemine. It didn’t want to break at first, but HHH muscled him through. HHH back in the ring and calls Undertaker on. Undertaker back in and they trade rights. Off the ropes, lariat by Undertaker. He lays the boots to HHH, and looks for old school. HHH is able to counter by throwing Undertaker to the mat. HHH clotheslines Undertaker to the floor, and follows. HHH whips Undertaker to the barricade, and now dismantles the regular announce table. He slams Undertaker onto the table, and follows him up there. Undertaker counters, they fights, and Undertaker backdrops HHH to the floor! That had to suck. Undertaker back into the ring, hits the ropes and BIG TAKER DIVE onto HHH! That landing did not look good. On the replay he almost came up short, but he did hit him. HHH appears to be favoring his left wrist. Undertaker sets the bottom of the steps, grabs HHH, takes him over and slams him onto the steps. The steps are by the Spanish Announce Table, they fight, and as Undertaker charges, HHH GETS THE SPINEBUSTER through the table! HHH is up, and brings Undertaker into the ring. HHH back into the ring as well, CHOKESLAM by Undertaker gets 2. Rights by Undertaker, head butts follow. HHH slams him to the corner, shoulder blocks follow. Mounted corner rights by HHH, Undertaker tries the last ride, pedigree countered, but Undertaker gets snake eyes and as he rebounds, a spinebuster by HHH gets 2. HHH rolls to the floor and gets a chair. Boot by Undertaker, and he has the chair. Chair shots to the back of HHH by Undertaker. HHH back up, counters, PEDIGREE! 1…2…NO! HHH stalks Undertaker, to the corner and sets Undertaker on the top. Rights by HHH, he climbs up, Undertaker sneaks under, LAST RIDE! 1…2…NO! Undertaker is pissed. Cutthroat by Undertaker, he calls for the end, picks up HHH, tombstone connects! 1…2…NO! Undertaker does NOT approve of this. Undertaker grabs the chair now, slams it down and picks up HHH. Tombstone try again, countered, DDT onto the chair! BOTH men are down. They struggle to their feet, up, PEDIGREE by HHH again! 1…2…NO! Crowd was into that pin. They again struggle to their feet, we’re 20-minutes in here, HHH grabs Undertaker, PEDIGREE AGAIN but only 2 again! HHH is now pissed! HHH now gets the chair, gets to his feet, and nails Undertaker in the back. A second chair shot by HHH. A third and HHH yells at him to stay down, a 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th chair shot to the back! The ref checks on Undertaker, HHH yells again to stay down. Undertaker to his feet, HHH has the chair, and NAILS Undertaker in the head with it! HHH in the corner as Undertaker lays on the mat, turns and sees Undertaker trying to get to his feet. Undertaker sits up, HHH can’t believe it. He yells at him to stay down, ad then says to just die. He asks Undertaker what’s wrong with him, Undertaker with the GOOZLE, HHH shake sit off and Undertaker is up and calls him on. HHH with the cutthroat TOMBSTONE BY HHH! Crosses the arms, 1…2…NO! Huge pop there as HHH backs off in disbelief. We get a this is awesome chant for a moment, and HHH to the floor and gets the trusty sledgehammer! HHH says its time, but Undertaker gets Hells Gate! HHH drops the sledgehammer, works to escape, fights, fades…but HHH postures up and continues to fight. HHH gets the sledgehammer, but drops it. His arm drops…he tries to fight again, and he slowly taps.
First, and I know some hate him, but Jim Ross added so much to the match announcing. Secondly, they delivered. I know that people want to compare it to HBK vs. Undertaker, and while not as good, it was pretty epic.

-After the match, HHH makes it to his feet, but Undertaker is still down. A trainer is in to check on Undertaker, as he slowly gets to his knees. Taker rolls to the apron, and to the floor as HHH looks on. Undertaker falls to the floor as HHH continues to look on. The trainer calls for the cart as Taker lays on the floor. The motorized cart comes out, and they pull Taker up and place him on the cart to take him to he back.
-They hype WM in Miami next year.
-Vickie Guerrero comes out, EXCUSE ME! She introduces her team of LayCool and Dolph.
-Good place for this match, I wouldn’t have wanted to follow that.
Dolph Ziggler and LayCool w/Vickie Guerrero vs. John Morrison, Trish Stratus and Snooki
The girls all brawl to start, and the guys separate them. Snooki slaps Dolph, and he is not happy about that. Trish and McCool to begin. They shove each other, rights and chops by Trish. Chops along the ropes, Matrix by Trish but McCool kicks her in the gut. Faith breaker try, countered by Trish into a face buster. Rights by Trish follow, but McCool slams her to the corner. Trish counters with the handstand, McCool pulls her up and rights by Trish as they fight up top and take a NASTY FALL to the floor. Layla over, rights by Trish, and the she wipes out LayCool with a double clothesline from the apron. N the ring, Dolph stops a pin try, and Morrison tosses him to the floor. Starship pain by Morrison to Dolph on the floor! Trish tags in Snooki, and does the Handspring elbow onto the corner! Cartwheel into a splash and she pins McCool.
Completely harmless fun there, although I would have liked to see Dolph and Morrison get in more stuff.

-They air a pretty awesome Miz video package.
-We have a gospel choir on stage singing for the first part of Cena’s entrance. It then goes into a prayer, over a video showing young John Cena, and then John Cena in WWE. Back to the choir singing, and then as Cena’s music hits, the BOO BIRDS are out.
WWE Title Match: The Miz © w/Alex Riley vs. John Cena
And here we go with the main event of the evening. They lock up, and Cena with a takedown. They circle, lock up again, side headlock by Miz. Off the ropes, shoulder block by Miz. Off the ropes again, hip toss by Cena and Miz backs away. To the corner, Miz takes Cena down and lays the boots to him. Whip to the corner by Miz, follows with the corner clothesline and Cena is down. Miz covers for 2. Lefts by Miz, Cena with as gut wrench suplex and a cover for 2. Side effect by Miz, and a cover gets 2. Cena down in the corner, Miz backs off, then charges in and misses the corner clothesline. Cena up top, fameasser connects and a cover gets 2. Cena misses the corner charge, Miz up and gets a boot to the face, and covers for 2. Boot by Miz, and a cover again for 2. More lefts by Miz now, and Cena is down. Boots by Miz, and then off the ropes and Cena misses a cross body and crashes to the mat. Baseball slide by Miz and Cena to the floor. Miz follows, sets Cena on the apron and then kicks him in the chest. Back into the ring and Miz covers for 2. Miz looks for the skull-crushing finale, countered, proto bomb by Cena and he has the momentum. Crowd hates him. Five Knuckle shuffle connects, attitude adjustment connects, but Miz counters and covers for 2. Drop toehold by Cena, STF try countered, and gets a neck breaker and covers for 2. Miz tries to remove the turnbuckle pad, caught, Cena roll shim up, delayed count and gets 2. Cena fires back, attitude adjustment try, Miz out, STF by Cena applied. Miz battles for the ropes, and gets them. Cena has to break. Riley slams Cena to the exposed buckle, skull-crushing finale by Miz and that gets 2. Miz stalks Cena, tries the finale again, but we get a ref bump. Attitude adjustment by Cena, covers, but the ref is down. Cena checks on the ref, Riley in with the briefcase, and NAILS Cena! Miz covers, ref up, 1…2…NO. Riley and Miz cannot believe this. Riley yells at the ref, distracts him, Miz gets the case, and misses Cena and NAILS Riley. Attitude adjustment, and only 2! To the floor they go, and Cena clotheslines Miz over the barricade. As Miz gets up and onto the barricade Cena to the floor and SPEARS him over the railing and to the floor by the fans. The ref counts, and gets to 10? Yup…
