AEW Will Crown Inaugural Tag Team Champions on October 30 TNT Show

– All Elite Wrestling has announced that the inaugural AEW World tag team champions will be crowned for the promotion’s weekly TV show on TNT on October 30. The event will be held in Charleston, West, Virginia. AEW also confirmed that tickets for that TV show go on sale this Friday, August 23 at 12:00 pm EST at AEWTIX.com.
AEW will hold a tag team tournament, with the winners being crowned the first champions. The Young Bucks are facing Private Party in an opening round match for the tournament on the October 9 TNT show.
The October 30 event will be held at the Charleston Coliseum. You can check out the Twitter announcement below. AEW will make its weekly TV debut on TNT on Wednesday, October 2. As noted, the show will run opposite NXT on the USA Network. NXT will debut on USA two weeks earlier on September 18.
