AEW’s Jordan Oliver Out Of Joey Janela 20th Anniversary Event Due To Medical Issue

Jordan Oliver is out of tonight’s Joey Janela’s 20th Anniversary show due to a medical issue, as the AEW star announced earlier today. Oliver was scheduled to team with his Bustah and the Brain partner Alec Price as well as Nick Wayne against Janela, Megan Bayne, and Lio Rush at the show, which is taking place in Asbury Park, New Jersey. However, he posted to Twitter this afternoon to note that he’s sick and was told by a doctor that he shouldn’t perform.

Oliver wrote:

“Hey everyone, I’m sorry to disappoint but I’m unable to preform today due to some medical issue . The doctor urged that I shouldn’t but I really wanted to unfortunately i feel so sick and wouldn’t be able to give what I should, this was really hard for me to pull off.”

No word on the details behind Oliver’s issue. Jordan Oliver has been part of the AEW roster since he and Price signed with the company back in January.
