All Elite Wrestling (AEW) files another trademark.

On Thursday, January 8, 2026, the Tony Khan-led company filed an application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to trademark ‘Exile on Pain St.”

The promotion has stated in its filing that the trademark is to cover goods and services related to producing professional wrestling television programs and events.

“Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services in the nature of live professional wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of professional wrestling programs and events; Entertainment services in the nature of a television series in the field of professional wrestling; Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of professional wrestling.”

The promotion often uses titles like these for the special episodes of Dynamite and Collision, so this could well be another step in that direction. That said, not all trademarks end up being used by the company. In November 2025, All Elite Wrestling filed to trademark four terms, i.e., “AEW Fire,” “AEW Tidal Wave,” “AEW Blitz,” and “AEW Firestorm.” The company has yet to explain the intention behind these trademarks.
