AEW Files Trademarks For ‘Watch AEW’ and ‘Spring Breakthru’

Fightful reported that AEW filed trademarks on November 14 for three different terms. AEW filed trademarks on “Watch AEW”, “AEW Spring Breakthru” & Spring Breakthru”. Below are descriptions of what they are seeking to use the phrases for:
WATCH AEW
Entertainment services in the nature of live professional wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of professional wrestling television programs; Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of professional wrestling; Providing television programs, not downloadable, via streaming transmission services; Providing non-downloadable videos in the field of professional wrestling via streaming transmission services

Ring of Honor used the hashtag #WatchROH for the last couple of years they were owned by Sinclair Broadcasting, “Watch AEW” would seem to follow a similar idea. The first edition of Spring Breakthru was held on April 16-17, 2025 in Boston. Given this filing, one can expect another edition in 2026. AEW previously filed for trademarks on “Spring Breakthru”. This latest filing seems to involve merchandise. Wrestling fans do like their shirts.
