Alexa Bliss Shares Message in Tribute to Nikki Cross

As previously reported, Nikki Cross was among the WWE releases this week. Nikki Cross’ former tag team partner, Alexa Bliss, shared a message on social media in tribute to her longtime friend.

Bliss wrote, “Bliss cross forever 🖤 thank you @WWENikkiCross for all of the amazing times, fun car rides, laughs & for being Hendrix’s backstage bestie 🖤 love you Nikki – can’t wait to see what’s next.”

Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross are two-time former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. They won the belts on two separate occasions, first winning them on Monday Night Raw in August 2019. They won the titles for the second and final time at WrestleMania 36: Night 1, beating The Kabuki Warriors.

They later lost the titles to Bayley and Sasha Banks on WWE SmackDown in May. The 37-year-old Cross had a 10-year career with WWE, starting with the company in 2016 as part of the NXT roster. During her time in WWE, Cross also became the WWE Raw Women’s Champion, a Slammy Award Winner, and a Money in the Bank winner.
