– A new report has some details on Luke Jacobs’ PROGRESS World Championship win and other developments out of PROGRESS Chapter 169. Jacobs won the title from Kid Lykos at the eventover the weekend in just over nine minutes, and Fightful Select reports that the strong win over was an idea that both competitors collaborated on with the company. All involved parties were said to have been happy with how it played out.

The report goes onto say that people in PROGRESS said talent are set to be much more involved in their own creative moving forward.

– The report also notes that Session Moth Martina’s heel turn had been in the works for a while. Martina appears as Charles Crowley’s unnanounced partner for his match against BUSSY, and they picked up the win. According to Fightful, after Alexxis Falcon was announced to be out of the match due to injury, Martina was the only person considered to be Crowley’s surprise partner. It goes on to note that Falcon has been working backstage as an agent with the company since her injury.

– Finally, several talent and backstage crew had noted that recent shows had a positive atmosphere backstage.
