Big E. Suggests Possible AJ Lee Return After WWE Clash In Paris

CM Punk got screwed over by Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch at WWE Clash In Paris, leading to a potential AJ Lee return being teased in the post-show. As noted, Lynch helped Rollins retain his World Heavyweight Title at the PLE by low blowing Punk, allowing Rollins to get the win. Big E. and Jackie Redmond speculated on the idea of a Lee return during the post-show stream with the idea of Lee going after Becky Lynch.

“I don’t want to spend time in the future spinning it forward,” Big E. began. “But I can’t help but think. Look, this man CM Punk, he’s he’s got a wife too. I’ve known her to kick some ass. I’m just saying, it’s on the table.”

When Jackie Redmond asked if he was saying it opens the door to AJ Lee’s return, he said it was “Something people have wanted for many, many years.”

The video that played over the conversation featured Punk asking for and receiving a sign from a fan that had his and Lee’s names on it, while Redmond imagined that Lee was watching Rollins and Lynch taunting Punk.

Lee retired from the ring in 2015 after her WWE run.
