Attendance was probably in the range of 1,300-1,500

1. Tsutomu Oosugi, Hercules Senga and Kota Sekifuda beat Hideyoshi Kamitani, Isamu Oshita and Toshiyuki Sakuta. The finish came off a nicely executed Japanese leg-roll clutch by Sekifuda.

2. The Brahmans (Brahman Shu and Brahman Kei) and Shinobu beat Atsushi Maruyama, Masato Inaba, and Dyna Mido. This was a typical Brahman garbage brawl and the crowd ate it up. Lots of fun. One of the Brahmans scored the win with a Cradle Shock.

3. Ryuichi Kawakami beat Kazuki Hashimoto with Emerald Flowsion. Solid hard-hitting matchup.

4. Saburo Inematsu and Ryuichi Sekine defeated Masaya Takahashi and Takayuki Ueki in a Barbwire Board Deathmatch. The finish came with a scary powerbomb onto a piece of the board. This was pretty brutal, but at least the guys put their hands up on shots to the head.

5. Ryuji Ito, Abdullah Kobayashi, and Isami Kodaka beat Jaki Numazawa, Masashi Takeda, and Takumi Tsukamoto in a Light Tube Deathmatch. Kodaka scored the win with a Greetings from Asbury Park. My god are these light tube matches brutal. Really difficult to watch honestly.

6. Daisuke Sekimoto and Yuji Okabayashi over Kohei Sato and Shuji Ishikawa. This match was awesome and the crowd was super hot. One of the best matches we’ve seen this trip. “Big Baby” Okabayashi pinned BJW World Strong Champion Ishikawa with a top rope splash, likely earning himself a title match down the line.

7. Yuko Miyamoto retained the BJW Deathmatch Championship vs. Kankuro Hoshino in a Battle Sphere Requiem Deathmatch. Not sure where the “sphere” comes into play as the match included chairs, ladders, cinderblocks, and weight plates. The finish came after Greetings from Asbury Park onto the ring steps.
