Bobby Roode and Other NXT Talents Rumored for the Main WWE Roster

– During The Wrestling Observer Radio Show (via WrestlingInc.com), Dave Meltzer had some details on who might be the next NXT Superstar to move up to the main roster. According to Meltzer, that person is likely Bobby Roode. WWE officials are said to be “super high” on Roode at the moment, and he’s expected to be among the Top 5 Superstars of whichever brand he lands on.
Additionally, Meltzer stated that WWE wants him on “the main roster ASAP.” Other talents being “rumored” (per WrestlingInc) for the main roster include Shelton Benjamin to the Smackdown brand, as well as Peyton Royce, Billie Kay, Hideo Itami, No Way Jose, and The Authors of Pain.
Roode was in action at last night’s NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III, losing the NXT world title to Drew McIntyre. You can check out 411mania’s full coverage and results for the card RIGHT HERE.
