Bully Ray Wants Darby Allin Positioned as AEW’s Top Hero
– During a recent edition of Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray evaluated AEW WrestleDream, noting that after the show ended, he wants to see Darby Allin positioned as the top “superhero” of the company. Below are some highlights (via WrestlingInc.com):
Bully Ray on Darby Allin: “As of right now, based on everything that I saw at the end of that show — of WrestleDream — I want Darby Allin to be positioned as my superhero! … Darby was the guy set up to be the hero.”
On what’s next for Bryan Danielson following WrestleDream: “You’re not gonna get his final farewell tomorrow [on AEW Dynamite], you’re gonna get his final farewell when he’s healed up and he can come back.”
In the main event of WrestleDream, Jon Moxley defeated Bryan Danielson to win the AEW World Championship, effectively ending Danielson’s run as a full-time wrestler in AEW.
