The System just went an overhaul in TNA as Cedric Alexander and Bear Bronson joined the group before it turned on JDC and Moose on this week’s TNA Impact. Thursday night’s show closed out with The System set to reveal the latest member of the group. The group announced they would be adding a member due to JDC retiring after his match at TNA Genesis against Eddie Edwards.
JDC cut a promo in which he thanked everyone for the farewell he received at Genesis on Saturday and thanked the fans. He noted that he had handpicked his replacement, someone he and the fans have a lot of respect for, before announcing that it was Bear Bronson. JDC put Bronson over as the future of The System and of wrestling as a whole.
Bronson came down to the ring and hugged everyone. JDC went to hug Edwards and got hit with a low blow. Brian Myers and Bronson then assaulted Moose as Alisha Edwards looked on in shock. Alexander hit the ring with a chair, seemingly defending the man he defeated earlier in the night. However, he then waffled Moose across the back with the chair.
Edwards, Myers, Alexander, and Bronson then proceeded to beat down Moose and JDC. Edwards said they were replacing Moose and Alisha tried to come to the two men’s defense but got shut down. The group got a big heel reaction from the crowd as the show went off the air.
