Cook’s WWE Raw Review 11.10.25

Hey kids! Steve Cook here with you for the latest edition of WWE Raw on Netflix! Tonight, John Cena makes his final WWE appearance in Boston. Cena’s hometown fans haven’t always been kind to him, but I expect that the folks in attendance tonight will be. There’s speculation abound concerning the possibility of Cena wrestling tonight on Raw. At the very least, he’s opening the show. We’ve also got two big championship matches and the beginning of the Last Time Is Now Tournament. Let’s hook em up!

Cook’s WWE Raw Review 11.10.25

Then. Now. Forever. Together!

Welcome to Boston! Shinsuke Nakamura is WALKING! Damian Priest is WALKING! Asuka & Kairi Sane are WALKING! Stephanie Vaquer & Nikki Bella are WALKING! We’ll talk about Logan Paul tonight!

We see clips showing the West Newbury entrance sign, the football field where college Cena played, and some more TD Garden. Joe Tessitore & Wade Barrett are our hosts.

Paul “Triple H” Levesque is in the ring! Lots of green Cena shirts in the crowd. Paul says we live in a magical time where we can all be here for a night like this. We also live in a time where people don’t agree on much, especially when it comes to this business. Everyone has an opinion on who the greatest of all time is. You can measure it from a ton of different ways that are all subjective. Paul can see it from a ton of a different ways. Tonight might be one of those nights where everyone can agree on everything, when he breaks it down from all side and looking at is as the most objective person there is, there’s only one person that can top the list. One person that did it all with a smile on their face because they loved this business as much as anyone. That person is the greatest single asset that this business has ever seen. It’s his honor to bring him out for you now, the hometown hero, the greatest of all time: John Cena!

John Cena comes out in his Celtics-inspired attire. The crowd is happy! What an introduction and what an amazing night we have here. One question that Cena has heard a lot is who he would like to face in his last match. The crowd thanks Cena, Cena thanks them. There was one question he actually wanted to hear: what is his goal in this exercise? His goal is to leave the business better than he found it and give someone the opportunity he got. Cena talks about the Last Time Is Now Tournament and how they’ll compete for the chance to retire Cena. Cena will go down fighting. On his last performance at Saturday Night’s Main Event, it’s a night to close one chapter, but also a night of opportunity. Main WWE roster Superstars will host exhibitions for NXT Superstars. He wanted to go to Boston one last time. He doesn’t book the dates or towns, he just wanted to go to Boston one last time. Ha, WWF still gets bleeped when Cena talks about how he grew up going to shows at Boston Garden. Cena just want to thank everybody…

Then Dominik Mysterio’s music hits! Dirty Dom makes his way to the ring while Joe Tess registers his outrage & Wade puts Dom over as the future of the business. Dom speaks some Spanish to Paul, then goes back to English. They say they’re talking the future. The crowd gets bleeped. Dom wants to know what Paul will do about last week. Dom’s celebration was interrupted by a deadbeat, and that doesn’t happen to him. He’s the one that interrupts old men’s celebrations. Cena welcomes Dom to Boston. Dom says it’s not about Cena or Boston, and tells Cena to speak when he’s spoken to, or he’ll put him down! Dom talkin some shit here. Cena thinks that Dom forgot where he was and who he’s talking to. Tonight, Dom doesn’t have a chance, Cena is invincible. Cena tells Dom to choose his words wisely, because if he wants to pick a fight tonight he’ll lose. Wrong time, place & guy. Cena will do him a favor because he respects Rey. He’ll let Dom turn around and walk back through the curtain. John will need more magic because Dom’s better than he ever was. Any time, place or era, he would have whooped John Cena’s ass. The crowd thinks Dom messed up. Paul agrees with the crowd. Tonight seems like a good era, a good place and one hell of a time. Dom will defend the Intercontinental Championship tonight, right here & right now! (after a commercial)

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. John Cena: Well, it’s already underway, Dom attacked right at the end of Alicia Taylor’s introductions. Cena with a bulldog, whips Dom off the ropes and Dom ducks outside. Dom takes a lot of time outside, then walks up the entranceway. Cena chases him down and brings him back to the ring. Dom sends Cena into the steps and poses. Dom stands on top of the sideways steps and talks some smack before bouncing Cena’s head off said steps. The referee counts to nine before Cena gets in the ring. Dom goes for the Three Amigos, hits all three and gets a two count. Cena fires back with some punches, goes for the AA and Dom slips out, hitting a DDT for two. We go to commercial!

Dom’s hilo meets Cena’s knees as we return. Shoulderblocks! Protoplex! You can’t see him! Five Knuckle Shuffle! Dom slips out of the AA and sends Cena’s shoulder into the ringpost. Dom goes to the opposite corner and removes a turnbuckle pad. The referee goes for it while Dom goes outside and gets a chair. Dom pulls the Eddie faux chair shot, but Cena plops down next to him! Dom & the referee battle over the chair. The referee wins, Cena gets Dom up in the AA, but they ram into the referee! Cena gets Dom in the STF and Dom taps out, but there’s no referee! He’s down on the floor, and Dom goes and gets his title belt while Cena’s back is turned. Dom misses with the belt, Cena hits the AA! Another referee runs down and makes a two count! Dom sets Cena up for the 619 & hits it! Frog splash! Cena rolls through with Dom in his arms! AA! HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE IN BOSTON!

Winner: John Cena (9:15 shown via pinfall)
Match Rating: ****
That was tremendously fun and exactly what it needed to be. Some classic Cena babyface work, Dom doing his thing and giving everybody what they wanted to see. I could kinda see the argument against having Cena no-sell Dom’s fini-ok, I can’t even finish typing that with a straight face. It’s wrestling. Dom’s not going to lose any credibility against somebody like John Cena.

Cena gets the microphone. He thanks Boston, because of them, tonight the champ is here! Indeed, Cena completes the full collection of championships.

Cena celebrates backstage with all the babyface wrestlers, including Jey Uso, Shinsuke Nakamura & Rey Mysterio. Rey says Dom really needed that asskicking. John says Dom’s a good kid. Hopefully he’ll learn from it. Cody Rhodes appears and shakes Cena’s hand.

Joe & Wade throw us to a video package of Logan Paul punching CM Punk last week. Logan Paul was WALKING earlier today and is here tonight.

The Last Time Is Now Tournament Opening Round Match: Rusev vs. Damian Priest: Priest is going through some eye issues thanks to Aleister Black. That always ends well for people, right? They really should have had Rusev come out in the middle of that Veteran’s Day commercial, but instead we get some USA chants before an actual commercial.

Tieup between the two large fellas. Rusev with a knee to the gut and some punches in the corner. Priest fights back with some punches of his own. Priest sent into the corner, but kicks Rusev before running into a Rusev strike. Spinning heel kick gets two for Rusev. Rusev with kicks to Priest on his knees. Priest with a spinning back elbow. He wrings Rusev’s arm and wants to walk the ropes, but Rusev knocks him off and hits a fallaway slam. We go to commercial!

Rusev & Priest trade punches as we return. Clothesline by Priest, elbow in a corner and a release Falcon Arrow gets two. Spin kick by Rusev, he knocks Priest down for two. Rusev with some kicks to Priest, who rises up and trades kicks with Rusev. Priest knocks Rusev down with a clothesline, then walks the ropes for the Old School crossbody. Down come the straps, Priest goes for his finisher, but Rusev breaks that up and gouges at the injured eye! Machka Kick ends this one in favor of Rusev.

Winner: Rusev (5:48 shown via pinfall)
Match Rating: **1/2
I thought this was a pretty good effort from both guys. Priest did a good job putting over his eye injury. I kinda doubt Rusev will win this tournament, but he does have some history with Cena they can talk about.

Rusev definitely wants him some of John Cena.

AJ Styles & Dragon Lee tell Adam Pearce that they want some more competition. Pearce wants to know what their team name is. Dragon suggests Dragons With Style in Spanish but it gets shot down. Maxxine Dupri appears and tells Pearce she’s ready. Pearce says her match with Becky Lynch will take place next week in Madison Square Garden. Becky smacks Maxxine down and lets her know she doesn’t have a chance.

LIKE MUSSOLINI! CM Punk makes his way to the ring. During the commercial, Punk knocked down Logan Paul’s LJN action figure at the announce desk. Punk’s a lot pissed off right now and not going to wait for a douchebag to cut him off. He’s not fixin to have no wrestling match, he’ll fight someone in the streets! He got sucker punched by a piece of garbage last week. Punk won’t fight him for his title, but he’ll fight him.

After being told to come out for the asskicking he’s earned, Logan Paul appears. Why is Punk so mad? Logan’s smarter than Punk and every single person in this building. Logan has been punched by Floyd Mayweather and Tsunamied by Bronson Reed. The Vision are cracking people every week, and Logan doesn’t want to get cracked every week. After taking the Tsunami, Logan’s eyes have been opened to a whole new vision. Paul Heyman appears, then Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker appear. Heyman says Punk is the single most unlikeable human being he’s ever met. He’s friendless because he betrays his friendships. Punk is a miserable, rotten bastard and couldn’t be more unlikeable unless his name was AJ Lee. Punk says AJ would leave them all in a pool of their own blood. She’s not here, so Punk will do it. He calls all 5 of them down there, with Heyman counting as two.

The Vision surround the ring, then Jey Uso appears in the ring to fight alongside Punk. Then Cody Rhodes’ music hits, and he jumps in next to Punk & Jey while the fans sing his song. It’s a Pier 6 brawl! Punk sends Logan into the barrier. Cody gets a chair and hits Bron in the gut. Jey, Cody & Punk surround Bronson and hit him with several blows before Cody & Jey clothesline him over the top rope. Play Living Colour!

Last Friday night, Charlotte was wrestling Nia Fox when Lash Legend appeared and choked out Alexa. Charlotte took the loss, then backstage the Kabuki Warriors misted them in the doctor’s room. We see Alexa & Charlotte stretching backstage, they’ll face Asuka & Kairi Sane later tonight!

Women’s World Championship Match: Stephanie Vaquer (c) (w/Nikki Bella) vs. Raquel Rodriguez (w/Roxanne Perez): If Raquel wins the title, will they finally show her entrance instead of relegating it to the commercial break? She & Roxanne could be doing the old Beautiful People gimmick and letting the pigeons loose every week for all I know. Raquel tosses Stephanie down easily, then backs her into the corner and hits some elbows. Shoudlerblock sends Vaquer down. Of course Joe thinks it’s great Nikki’s out there in front of the announce desk. Stephanie with some shots to Raquel, a rana that doesn’t look great kinda hits I guess, then Stephanie hits a dropkick. She goes for the Devil’s Kiss, but Raquel powers out of it and drops her on the second turnbuckle. Big clothesline by Raquel, cover gets two. We go to commercial!

Raquel has Stephanie in a Widow’s Peak position as we return, but Vaquer gets out of it. Kick by Stephanie and some punches send Raquel into the corner. Up and over onto the apron for Stephanie, she goes up top and hits a crossbody. Meteora gets two for Stephanie. She goes for the SVP but it’s blocked easily by Raquel. Raquel gets put in a guillotine by Stephanie, Raquel reverses with a suplex. Big boot gets two for Raquel. Tejana Bomb is countered, sending Raquel into the corner. Raquel blocks the Meteora and powerbombs Stephanie down for two. Rope assisted armbar by Stephanie. Roxanne grabs Stephanie’s ankles, and Nikki sends Roxanne into the barricade. Raquel catches Stephanie on a crossbody and hits a fallaway slam. Stephanie avoids the Vader Bomb Elbow and it’s Devil’s Kiss time! Kick sends Raquel down, Stephanie goes up top and hits a Spiral Tap for three!

Winner: Stephanie Vaquer (7:33 shown via pinfall)
Match Rating: **1/2
This didn’t quite go as well as I was expecting, it either seemed like they weren’t really on the same page or they were trying some stuff they can’t quite do yet. They did get better towards the end though.

Roxanne attacks Stephanie right after, and Nikki is in to drive her out of the ring. Stephanie & Nikki hug and raise arms. We see Roxanne & Raquel go up the ramp AND NIKKI HITS STEPHANIE WITH THE BELT WHAT THE HELL? OK, I’m not that shocked. Nikki rips off her red top to reveal her evil black top and exits the arena.

Pearce asks if Punk, Cody & Jey are good. Punk says they’re not, and he wants a match. William Regal randomly walks in and yells WAR GAMES. I guess that’s Survivor Series then.

The Last Time Is Now Tournament Opening Round Match: Sheamus vs. Shinsuke Nakamura: I don’t know how these brackets are arranged, but I feel like I’ve seen enough Sheamus vs. Rusev matches for awhile. So go Shinsuke! Sheamus takes him down with a headlock, shoulderblocks Shinsuke down. Short arm clothesline by Sheamus. Shinsuke chokes Sheamus in the corner with his boot, Sheamus bodyslams Shinsuke and fish hooks him. Shinsuke says COME ON in the corner, and manages to get Sheamus on the top rope. Sheamus dodges Nakamura’s knee the first time in the corner, but not the knee drop to the back of the head while he’s bent over the middle rope. Sheamus catches Shinsuke on a dive attempt and places him down hard on the apron. We go to commercial!

Rolling senton by Sheamus as we return. Sheamus goes up top, but Nakamura meets him with a kick. Nakamura goes for a superplex, hits it! Cover gets two. Some driving kneedrops by Shinsuke. Shinsuke starts striking Sheamus, and Sheamus likes that kinda thing. Punches exchanged. Sheamus hits the Irish Curse, then it’s time for 10 Beats of the Bodhran! Sheamus signals for the Brogue kick, but Shinsuke blocks. Sheamus avoids the Kinshasa, knees Shinsuke in the face for two. Sheamus places Shinsuke on his shoulders, goes to the middle rope, Nakamura slips out and powerbombs Sheamus down for two. Sheamus rolls Shinsuke up out of a Kinshasa attempt, hits the Brogue Kick and gets the three count!

Winner: Sheamus (7:49 shown via pinfall)
Match Rating: ***
The announcers were sure to point out that Sheamus still needs to win the IC title to complete his collection, so that’s something to maybe keep an eye on. Good solid action here as one would expect. Hopefully Nakamura gets something fun to do soon.

Some mutual respect between the combatants afterward. Good for them!

Adam Pearce is here to draw the tournament entrants for next week’s episode of Raw. Je’Von Evans will go one on one with the Ring General, Gunther! Solo Sikoa will face a person Pearce wants to wait and reveal next week.

Next Week: Evans vs. Gunther, Sikoa vs. Mystery Opponent, Lynch vs. Dupri!

Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss (c) vs. The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane): Charlotte having fun doing the You Can’t See Me hand motion with the kids wearing their Cena shirts. Awwwwww. Charlotte & Alexa attack right after the bell. It’s Bliss & Sane in the ring, Bliss with a flipping senton. Asuka & Charlotte tag in. Flair Flip in the corner, Charlotte with a quick rollup for two. Asuka slips out of a slam, misses a back smash, but Kairi tags in and hits a flying forearm off the top for two. Sane sent to the apron, Charlotte boots her to the floor. Alexa misses an assisted baseball slide dropkick and Asuka kicks her down on the floor. Asuka & Kairi celebrate as we go to commercial.

Alexa manages to double DDT Asuka & Kairi as we return. Charlotte tags in and hits a double cross body. Chops all around! Walkover clothesline by Charlotte! Fallaway slam on Asuka, one for Kairi too. Charlotte steps over both women and goes up top for the moonsault. It hits! Cover gets two on Asuka. Forearms exchanged by Asuka & Charlotte. Spinning backfist sends Charlotte down, then some kicks by Asuka. Charlotte catches Asuka and hits a back suplex! Double Natural Selection is blocked by Asuka, who has the Asuka Lock on Charlotte! Kairi drags Alexa off the apron to keep the tag from happening. Asuka with a flipping armbar. Charlotte gets out and has a Liontamer for Asuka! Asuka rolls out and gets a nearfall. Asuka runs into a big boot, then Flair goes to the Figure 4! Kairi tries to break it up, Alexa catches her and hits the Sister Abigail DDT on Kairi! Charlotte tries to lock in the Figure 8, but Nia Jax & Lash Legend interfere, breaking the hold! They take Alexa out on the floor, and Asuka & Kairi hit the assisted Insane Elbow! HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE IN BOSTON!

Winners: The Kabuki Warriors (7:40 shown via pinfall)
Match Rating: ***1/2
I didn’t want to see Alexa & Charlotte lose, but Asuka & Kairi always deserve the gold. Seems like they’ll have some competition for it here on Raw. Good match here, everybody was on point.

Nia & Lash attack Alexa & Charlotte afterward. After taking them out, they have a conversation with Asuka & Kairi. The four women decide to beat up Charlotte & Alexa! IYO SKY’s music hits! IYO runs down and attacks all four. IYO’s run ends when Nia tosses her into Lash’s forearm strike. Here comes Rhea Ripley! She’s got a facemask on and she’s attacking Lash & Nia. Nia is left alone to take some kicks before rolling out of the ring. Rhea Razor’s Edges Kairi to the floor on top of Asuka, Nia & Lash! Rhea yells WAR GAMES and I guess that’s the women’s match sorted. The foursomes look at each other as our live event comes to an end.

There was a low point or two, but the good stuff on tonight's WWE Raw more than made up for it. I really loved the Cena/Dom match, we got a heel turn that was still fun even if predictable, and we got our War Games matches made for Survivor Series. Nothing really worth griping about tonight. See y'all next week!
