Coast 2 Coast (Ali & LSG) vs. Beer City Bruiser & Brian Milonas: Coast 32 Coast attacks at the bell, they look for stereo planchas, but LSG gets caught and Ali helps him take Milonas down. C2C runs wild back in the ring, hit more dives and then get cut off by the Bruiser. Bruiser then misses an apron cannonball, splatting on the floor. Post break, as Milonas cuts off the faces and the big lads take the heat. Milonas repeatedly sits on Ali and bruiser hits the cannonball. Ali starts to fire back, Milonas misses a leg drop and takes out Bruiser with an enziguri. LSG tags in, runs with strikes and Bruiser and Milonas end up running into each other. LSG follows with the 450 for a good near fall. Ali in and hits a flatliner on Bruiser. He gets cut off and Milonas nearly drops him on his head on a dominator, could have been really bad. The big boys hit last call, but Ali makes the save. Ali fires up with kicks, LSG and he work double dropkicks and then hit coast to coast on Milonas for the win. Coast 2 Coast defeated Beer City Bruiser & Brian Milonas @ 10:25 via pin [**½] This was a perfectly solid opening match, with the right team winning. Bruiser & Milonas are an ok at best big man team, and while I have had my issues with Bruiser at times, he’s much better on his own and can actually deliver quality matches, while Milonas simply comes off as a poor professional wrestler; I’m actually shocked that he gets used as much as he does, especially when there’s better talent out there to use. If they can keep it up, Coast 2 Coast will be great babyface challengers to the Briscoes down the line.

– Jay Lethal cuts a fired up promo about getting back to the top and to the ROH Title.

-The Bucks cut a promo on the Briscoes ahead of their tag title match next week.

Jonathan Gresham vs. Will Ferrara w/Rhett Titus: They lock up, we get some pushing and shoving, Gresham looks to grapple and starts countering out of Ferrara’s attacks. Ferrara cheap shots Gresham in the throat, and then lays the boot to him. Gresham fires back with chops but Ferrara cuts him off. Post break, and Gresham starts attacking the arm of Ferrara. Gresham starts working really smooth counters and escapes. Gresham works the octopus, but Ferrara makes the ropes. Ferrara gets a cradle for 2. Ferrara now works a crossface variation, but Gresham makes the ropes. Ferrara hits ahead butt and follows with strikes. Gresham cuts him off with an enziguri ad German for 2. Gresham back to the arm and a cradle and bridge gets the pin. Jonathan Gresham defeated Will Ferrara @ 8:35 via pin [**½] This was another solid match, with Gresham picking up a much-needed win on TV. I loved the Guns making the save as a call back to he Search & Destroy days.

– Post match, Titus arrives and attacks Gresham. He and Ferrara beat him down until the Guns make the save.

– Promo time with Marty Scurll & Cody. Cody says he will challenge for the title at Best in the world, but Scurll wants the title shot. They argue as Cody says Bullet Club is fine. I somehow doubt that.

– Taylor runs down Nova for taking money that should be his.

Shane Taylor vs. Ryan Nova: Taylor: Knee strike, choke slam, chokeslam, Samoan driver, ~fin~ Shane Taylor defeated Ryan Nova @ 0:40 via referee stoppage [NR] Ryan Nova, dead meat.

Dalton Castle & The Boys vs. The Kingdom (Matt Taven, TK O’Ryan, & Vinny Marseglia): This was supposed to be set up for Taven vs. Castle, which was canceled due to Castle’s injuries. Castle & O’Ryan start us off. They lock up, working to the corner, and O’Ryan bails to the floor. Back in and Castle hits suplexes. Vinny tags in and castle Grounds things. Vinny back to the feet, lays in elbows but Castle quickly suplexes him. The boys are in and double team Vinny. The missile dropkick follows for 2. Vinny cuts off a boy, and tags in Taven. Taven shoves him down and now wants Castle. Castle tags in and castle teases bangarang, but Taven cuts him off. Post break and castle dumps Taven. The Kingdom attacks the boys, taking them to the floor. They then isolate Castle and Taven stomps on Castle’s broken hand. The boys return and brawl. They hit dropkicks to Taven and get cut off by triple teams. O’Ryan back in and hits a belly to back suplex for 2. Taven in and hits a suplex for 2.Vinny back in for some double teams, O’Ryan joins him as they work over a boy. The spinebuster follows and the Kingdom goes back to triple teams. Christopher Daniels arrives and tries to steal back the trios titles, but Shane Taylor (who has been paid to protect them) fights him off. The boys pull the switch and Castle gets the hot tag. He runs wild on O’Ryan, takes out Vinny and Castle then throws the boys to the floor onto the Kingdom. Back in and Taven cuts off Castle and hits him with a title belt on the broken hand. Taven hits the climax on a boy for the win. The Kingdom defeated Dalton Castle & The Boys @ 13:45 via pin [**¾] This was a pretty good main event, and they did a nice job of adding go the build for Castle vs. Taven. Unfortunately, that ended up meaning nothing since that match got cancelled.

– Post match, The Kingdom beat down Castle with a chair and Pillmanize his hand.

– Next week…
* Tag Title Match: The Briscoes vs. Young Bucks

– End Scene.

This week’s episode of ROH TT was a solid show, nothing was bad, they continued the rise of Coast 2 Coast, and Castle/Taven angle was well done, but ended up meaning nothing. It was fine, but nothing you need to track down to see.
