As previously reported, WWE Hall of Famer and AEW broadcaster Jim Ross shared his criticism for an oft-used wrestling spot he didn’t care for on a recent edition of Grilling JR. Specifically, he criticized a spot when a group of people, friends and foes, will stand together on the outside of the ring to catch someone leaping off of the top rope. While speaking to Sportskeeda, AEW TNT champion Darby Allin actually shared his agreement with Ross.

When asked by Sportskeeda about Ross’ criticism, Darby Allin stated, “I love Jim Ross, and I agree with him.” Following Ross’ comments on his podcast, AEW wrestler Brandon Cutler appeared to poke fun at the statements later on Twitter on Sunday.

Cutler used some of Ross’ previous comments to promote his upcoming 7 vs. 7 tag match on tomorrow’s Dynamite. He wrote, “THIS WEDNESDAY on #AEWDynamite 7 vs 7. We’re gonna go outside, cluster up like coils, stand there in a huddle, friends and foes together, side-by-side to catch some leaping idiot going over the top. Can’t wait 8pm TnT. Hopefully for 1M viewers let’s fn go.”

AEW Dynamite, featuring the 7 vs. 7 tag team match, will air tomorrow night on TNT.
