  • April 19, 1993
  • From Poughkeepsie, N.Y..
  • Your hosts are Vince McMahon, Rob Bartlett and Randy Savage.

  • Money Inc. and the Beverly Bros. give dueling interviews.
  • Razor Ramon vs. Virgil.
Virgil grabs a few hammerlocks, but Razor keeps going to the ropes. They botch a schoolboy when Razor is out of position. You’d think Virgil would just stop trying it instead of dropping down and searching for Razor’s legs, but well, there ya go. Ramon uppercuts him to come back. Virgil blocks a charge and hits a flying clothesline. His crossbody is off the mark, though, and Razor finishes with the Razor’s Edge at 6:58. Virgil gave it a go, and that made Razor’s victory look that much better. Sad what’s become of Scott Hall. **1/2

  • Giant Gonzales (w/Harvey Whippleman) vs. L.A. Gore.
Gore refuses to get in, so Gonzales palms his head and yanks him in. Gonzales can’t do much, but he’s really tall. Clothesline and chokeslam at 1:19. Gonzales is tall. 1/4*

  • Tatanka vs. Art Thomas.
Thomas attacks from behind, prompting Vince to theorize that Thomas wants to make a name for himself. Bartlett jokingly mistakes Thomas for Marlo Thomas. See, now if he were a wrestling fan, he would have mistaken him for Sailor Art Thomas. Papoose-to-Go finishes at 2:28. Tatanka is still undefeated. 1/2*

  • Non-Title: Money Inc. vs. The Beverly Bros.
The Bevs are the babyfaces here. Vince theorizes that the Beverly’s gave Money Inc. bad advice intentionally. Yeah, how is “Hey, don’t let Scott catch you with that Butterfly thing” sabotage? Dibiase plays heel-in-peril for a while, and then they switch off. The Beverlys continue to cheat. We take a break and come back to Dibiase holding a front facelock on Beau. Blake gets the hot tag and… tags Beau right back in. No wonder you guys never won anything in the WWF. The Beverlys try a doubleteam and, just like last week, it backfires. Dibiase schoolboys Beau for the win at 10:55. The fans were having a problem with the whole heel/heel dynamic. **1/2

  • Vince welcomes “the people’s champion” Bret Hart. The word “underdog” gets bandied about quite a bit. He says he’s got a hitlist, and Lex Luger is at the top of that. Interestingly, it wouldn’t happen because Luger would leapfrog over Bret to replace Hogan as the #1 babyface.
  • Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Phil Apollo.
Apollo gets NOTHING from Bam Bam. Doink the Clown wanders down during the slaughter. Bigelow avalanches Apollo and tries to rip his head off. Wham, Bam, Thank You Ma’am (the diving headbutt) finishes at 4:47. 1/2*

  • After the match, Bam Bam delivers more headbutts, but Friar Ferguson comes out to bless and protect Apollo. The Catholic church would complain about Ferguson, so he only appeared at one or two tapings before transitioning to Bastion Booger.
  • And we’re out.
  • The 411: Money Inc. vs. The Beverly Bros. is an interesting curio, but not much more. The best moment was Bret's "I'm not finished" promo, which kept Hitman fans from abandoning ship after his shoddy treatment at WrestleMania IX.
