This week’s episode of Monday Night RAW saw former SmackDown Women’s Champion Natalya bring her “Nattie Neidhart” character to WWE television. A vignette aired during the show, in which Nattie was seen aggressively training newly crowned Women’s Intercontinental Champion Maxxine Dupri in The Dungeon, with the Alpha Academy member being repeatedly taken down by the 43-year-old, who kept saying, “Again.”
When it was Dupri’s turn to go for the offense, she was easily taken down by the veteran. After being slapped and asked to leave the ring by Nattie, Maxxine shouted, “Again,” only for Neidhart to turn back and smile. WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select has provided an update on Natalya’s no-nonsense character debuting on WWE TV.
According to the wrestling insider, the live and social media reactions to Natalya’s “Lowkey Legend” gimmick, which she has been portraying on the independent circuit since April 2025, caught the attention of the upper management of the company. This is said to be a factor in her bringing this character to WWE television. The report also adds that the Queen of Harts has been instrumental in pushing to portray this new character, taking it upon herself to get booked outside the promotion.
Additionally, Sean Ross Sapp spoke to several WWE sources, who claimed that the company initially wanted to continue with Natalya’s current presentation, but the veteran herself pushed for a permanent change to her character. The report also adds that the company has been protective of her matches airing as Nattie and has also not allowed her appearances in NWA to air.
