Details On The Original Plans For Wrestlemania 35 Main Events

As of now, it looks like the main event for Wrestlemania 35 will either be Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar for the Universal title or a triple threat match featuring Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch for the RAW Women’s title. However, this was not always the case. The latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the original plan for Wrestlemania 35 was to have a main event of Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey, along with Universal champion Roman Reigns defending his title. The plan would have been for Reigns to have defeated Brock Lesnar definitively at some point before then, possibly at Crown Jewel. Reigns was booked for that show before he announced his hiatus due to leukemia.
