Drew McIntyre On The Look Of Modern Wrestlers: “Get In The Freakin’ Gym”

Drew McIntyre recently shared his blunt opinion on the physique of many modern professional wrestlers.
During an appearance on Impaulsive with Logan Paul (per Fightful), McIntyre discussed how the perception of wrestlers has changed.
“For me, let me get into the environments where I can show that we’re not a bunch of morons, we’re actually college-educated and can string sentences together. We know how to build a brand. The more you put me in those situations, especially with WWE….it drives me nuts when I see some of our guys on some of these huge public platforms, huge TV shows. These days, no offense, but 85% of our guys don’t look like they should be in WWE or (on) Netflix. My buddies will contact me, ‘I just turned on the wrestling to see what you are up to. Logan Paul is in there and he’s killing it. Roman Reigns, what a star when he comes on the screen. Comes off the screen, and he’s a giant. These other guys look like they should be serving me my fast food at McDonald’s. When it looks like I could kick their ass, it takes me out of it.’ I’m like, [Mockingly] ‘They’re good at wrestling. Eventually, you’ll connect with them.’ ‘I’m not going to watch it long enough. I’m going to change the channel.’ Guys, get in the freakin gym or get something that grabs their attention.”
