Drew McIntyre Reacts to CM Punk’s WWE Raw Promo: ‘One of Us Is Not Walking Out of Hell in a Cell’

– As previously reported, CM Punk made a vow during last night’s WWE Raw, promising to make Drew McIntyre bleed when they face each other in a Hell in a Cell match later next month at WWE Blood. Drew McIntyre, who took this week off and was not in attendance at last night’s Raw, has released a video on Instagram, responding to Punk’s comments. McIntyre says in the video:
“That’s what I’ve been waiting for. Like I owe myself some time. I’m obviously at home, but I just watched what you had to say, and that look in the eyes, that’s a man who’s ready to go all the way. They’ll try to hurt me, but a man who’s willing to go out on his back, this has been 32 weeks now this has been going on. And I’ve been doing all the heavy lifting. Obviously, you’ve had a nice little break, some time off to spend with your wife and stupid-looking dog. I didn’t get any time off, and I was begged to stay home this week because the brass are worried about their main event, the Hell in a Cell, if anything was to happen tonight. And I took it because, for once, I want a week off. I want to spend some time with my wife, my cats. That’s the man that I’ve been waiting to see. I can tell how many matches you have left. One. I can make you a promise too. One of us is not walking out of Hell in a Cell. I’m going to enjoy my week off. Glad to finally see you show up, Phil.”
He also wrote in the caption, “That’s the CM Punk I want.” CM Punk vs. McIntyre inside Hell in a Cell goes down on Saturday, October 5 at WWE Bad Blood. The event will be held at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. It will be broadcast live on Peacock.
