Ethan Page Says He’s Not Looking to Become a Coach at the WWE Performance Center
– During a recent interview with Fightful, WWE NXT Superstar Ethan Page was asked about coaching at the WWE Performance Center. According to Page, he’s not looking to coach at the WWE PC, but he would give advice to wrestlers who asked for it. Below are some highlights from Fightful:
Page on not coaching at the Performance Center: “Yes, anything you see athletic that Je’von Evans is doing is strictly coming from Ethan Page. No, I would definitely say I’m not in a coaching position whatsoever. Are there people here that know of my history? A few of them. I’ll give advice if asked, but I’m not just kind of walking around trying to help these athletes jump ahead of Ethan Page. So no, I’m not really giving out advice.”
On how wrestlers should talk to Fit Finlay and Terry Taylor instead of him: “There are there are people that I take a liking to and I get along with great and I see lots of potential in. My brain is like so wired like that. So many years of Alpha-1, just seeing people on the road and being like, ‘Oh, there’s something there, this guy, I need to bring him to Canada,’ or whatever it is. So obviously there’s people like that here, but I mean, Terry Taylor works here, so what the hell are you asking Ethan Page? Just go talk to Fit Finlay. Go talk to Terry Taylor. No one’s talking to Ethan Page though.”
On last week’s edition of WWE NXT, Page defeated Axion in an Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifying Match.
