Winners and NEW NXT Tag Team Champions- Kalisto and Sin Cara **1/4 ( Some very sloppy moments throughout since Viktor and Konnor clearly can’t match the pace that Kalisto and Sin Cara go at but the crowd was into the match and the luchadores victory came across as a huge moment, finally toppling the Ascension. )

Video package for Adrian Neville airs.

CJ Parker vs. Baron Corbin
Corbin knocks Parker down with a hard shot to start and he hits the swinging flatliner for 3.
Winner-Baron Corbin SQUASH (Well, that was quick.)

Hair vs. Hair Match- Sylvester Lefort w/Marcus Louis vs. Enzo Amore w/Colin Cassidy
Before the match, they do a vignette backstage where Enzo and Colin want to try out their hair cream bucket on each other and accidently spill it onto their poodle. Enzo puts over the list of haircuts he could give to Sylvester but says he’s going to put Sylvester’s head in the bucket. Enzo and Colin have a wacky charisma to them and would get over on TV easy. Lefort overpowers Amore to start and Amore comes back with a drop toe hold before walking on Lefort. Roll-up by Amore gets 2 and Lefort hammers the back of Amore. Dropkick by Amore and he hip tosses Lefort back into the ring. Lefort snaps Amore’s neck off the ropes to come back and he stomps away. Slam by Lefort gets 2 and he goes to the chinlock. Louis distracts Amore, allowing Lefort to hit a lariat for 2. Cassidy lays out Louis on the floor and Amore gets the O’Connor roll for 3!!!
Winner- Enzo Amore *1/2 ( This match was nothing special but this whole thing is about the characters and the hair stipulation so it was going to be an afterthought anyway. )

After the match, Lefort tries to run away but Cassidy lays him out with a clothesline. He tries to drag Lefort to the barber chair but Louis saves. Lefort runs away, leaving Louis all alone to be attacked by Amore and Cassidy. Big boot by Cassidy DESTROYS Louis and they pour the hair cream onto Louis!!!

William Regal comes out and shows us a video package on KENTA. He introduces KENTA to the live crowd and he is put over as a big deal. KENTA speaks in Japanese and then in English says this is a dream come true. He says he is happy to be in NXT and says to pay tribute to one of his heroes; he is going to call himself Hideo Itami. He says his goal is to be NXT Champion. The Ascension comes out and they clear the ring of Itami. Konnor demands a rematch from Regal but Itami comes back in. Itami fires away at the Ascension and they are forced to bail. Itami grabs a chair and sits in it to mock the former tag champions. ( See if they did these kinds of segements on Raw for debuting talent, they a lot more guys would get over. This was great and they made KENTA immediately look like someone special. )

Winner- Bull Dempsey ¼* ( Man, they gave up on Mojo real quick and it’s a bad sign when they lose interest in you on NXT. Bull doesn’t have the typical WWE look so I’m interested to see how they continue to book him going forward. )

Enzo Amore complains to Colin Cassidy about winning the match and not getting to shaveSylvester Lefort. They spot him backstage and Lefort runs again. Cassidy grabs Marcus Louis and carries him back into the ring. Enzo reveals Marcus Louis’ bald head and he freaks out.

Winner and Still NXT Women’s Champion- Charlotte **1/2 ( Solid match that got across its’ story of Bayley being tough and resilient but not at the level of Charlotte so she couldn’t pull off the upset. Charlotte is ready for the main roster. She cuts a good promo and she’s having better matches than anyone of the Diva’s on the main roster.)

After the match, Sasha Banks comes out and attacks Bayley. Charlotte has seen enough and she pulls Sasha off of Bayley.

Zayn goes after Neville but he super kicks him. Neville goes up and hits the Red Arrow for 3!!!
Winner and Still NXT Champion- Adrian Neville ***3/4 ( Excellent main event. I thought the first portion of the match was a bit of a drag with Breeze and Neville not doing much and Kidd working over Zayn with rest holds, but once Zayn made his comeback this became the crazy and wild match I expected coming in. The crowd was ready for the Zayn title change, so the Neville/Zayn match that should be on the horizon should have a crazy atmosphere as a result of this finish.)

The final score: review Average
The 411
This show was a big step down from the two spectacular NXT specials from earlier this year. This show outside of the main event had a much weaker wrestling quality, as they chose to focus more on the gimmicks and characters of NXT rather than the feuds or quality wrestling that the NXT brand had started to build a reputation for. It caused this show to have a Raw and Smackdown feel to it which is not something you want when you want NXT to be its own entity. There was still good stuff on the show, such as the four way main event and the introduction of Hideo Itami, but you don't have to go out of your way to see this show like you did with the first two specials.
