Gilbert Burns Excited About Endeavor Buying WWE, Says It’s a Good Chance to Slap Brock Lesnar

Gilbert Burns is happy about Endeavor purchasing WWE, noting that it gives him an opportunity to slap Brock Lesnar in the face. The UFC fighter spoke during a press conference before UFC 287 and noted that he is looking forward to the opportunities that the deal brings, particularly the notion that he may be able to slap Lesnar for pushing Daniel Cormier back at UFC 226. On UFC buying Endeavor: “I think both are huge companies that can help each other build even better marketing for each one. I think UFC can learn so much from the WWE and vice versa, and it’s a good opportunity to slap Brock Lesnar in the face.”

On his issues with Lesnar: “I never met [Brock]. He’s lucky I never met him. I want to slap him because he cannot push DC like that when he came all the way there in the Octagon. I want to slap him in the face.”
