GUNTHER Retains World Title at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event
GUNTHER managed to fend off two challengers to retain the World Heavyweight title at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. The champion faced off with Finn Balor and Damian Priest in a triple threat match. All three men got close to winning at various points, until finally GUNTHER broke up a pinfall attempt from Priest. He powerbombed Priest onto the steel steps, then hit another powerbomb on Balor to win.
GUNTHER has been champion for 128 days after winning it at Summerslam. He is in his first reign.
