Next show: ICW: Terminator 2.5 – It’s Yersel’ at The Garage in Glasgow (Scotland) on Sunday August 26th

Notes:

The show was opened by ICW founder and owner Mark Dallas who gave the reins of the night to special guest General Manager/Commissioner Jeff Jarrett, giving him a guitar as a gift. JJ stated that being on an ICW ring is a dream come true.

After the opening contest, Lionheart came out to state that he wants and deserves a World Title Match at Fear & Loathing XI, on December 2nd.

After the Kings of Catch defeated The Hunter Brothers, they spoke to the fans saying that they think they are the best tag team that ever appeared in ICW and that they should get a title match. Former three-time tag team champion (and former World Champion) Chris Renfrew came out to challenge them to a match at the next show; he will announce his partner closer to the date.

The four finalists of the “Rogue to Wrestler” BBC show were introduced: Lil’ Scoop, Chopper Gray, Pitbull Paul and “Showtime” Maggie Vonral. Before they could do anything, Thatcher Wright appeared with the intention to spread the word of former UK Prime Minister Baroness Margaret Thatcher. He was hit by the four contestants, who then celebrated with Mark Dallas, Lionheart and Jack Jester.

Jeff Jarrett called out “Just Justice” Jackie Polo, suggesting that he finds his Just Justice shtick funny but a bit too close to a gimmick infringement. He then challenged him to a match – not against himself, but against a good friend of his: the returning former ICW World Champion Grado!

At the end of the Jackie Polo v Grado match, Polo attacked Grado with his trademark polo mallet only to be stopped by Jeff Jarrett who then smashed his guitar on Polo’s head. Grado and JJ then celebrated by singing Jarrett’s own 1996 hit single “With My Baby Tonight”.

After Aaron Echo defeated Jeff Cobb, Mikey Whiplash took the time to apologies to his protégé Aivil for having left her on the side for a while and to the fans for not having been himself, stating his intention to return to his old self and to create more “moments” for the ICW fans. Red Lightning joined him on the ring to offer him a contract with Rudo Sports & Entertainment Brand. Whiplash seemed willing to consider his former foe’s offer, but eventually confirmed his faith in Legion. On Red Lightning’s order, he was then attacked by Bram and Iestyn Rees. Ravie Davie came out to attack his nemesis Bram, but was quickly overpowered. At that point, James Storm also came out and, after a gesture of mutual respect with Bram, begun his match against Ravie Davie.

The Deathmatch saw the use of a number of weapons and objects, from tables and chairs to thumbtacks and a bullrope. After the match, while James Storm kept attacking his opponent, Ravie Davie was rescued by his cousin and tag team partner Zander, who was however soon overpowered by Storm. Leyton Buzzard then joined them to defend Davie, but Storm kept the control of the situation until Joe Hendry intervened with a steel chair. Hendry seemed to have re-embraced his old “Local Hero” attitude, but soon revealed it was all a ruse and ordered his intern Leyton Buzzard to viciously attack the already suffering Ravie Davie. To avoid losing his job, Leyton obeyed despite being obviously unhappy.

During the match for the Women’s Title, Aivil appeared from under the ring to attack Kasey.

The World Championship Match saw Kay Lee Ray repeatedly attacking DCT, who was often protected by Coach Trip. Aspen Faith and Lewis Girvan also intervened to assist Stevie Boy, with Viper eventually evening up the numbers. DCT’s victory celebration was initiated by a hug from Coach Trip’s son, Trip junior.
