Impact News: Eli Drake Wants to Face Bobby Lashley, Another Referee Released
– Impact Wrestling has released another of their referees, which appears to leave them with just one ref remaining. Brian Stiffler noted on Twitter that he’s been granted a release. Brian Hebner and Robert King previously announced their releases, which means that Earl Hebner appears to be the only referee with the company at this time.
Stiffler also previously worked with the company’s production team.
Got to main event one last time w/ @IMPACTWRESTLING!! Thanks for granting my release! Big THANKS to the locker room & crew for everything!!

– Speaking with A Music Blog, Yea?, Eli Drake said that while he’s focused on his match with Johnny Impact at Bound For Glory, he does have some other people he’d like to face in the company. Drake said, “I really look forward to, at some point, Bobby Lashley. I’ve never even been in the ring with him, we’ve never looked eye-to-eye. We’ve been partners before, but never across the ring. In due time.”
