Impact Wrestling News: Update on Plans for Alberto El Patron at Bound for Glory, Details on Additional Tickets for Event, and Don Callis Possibly Heading to Impact Wrestling

– Alberto El Patron is reportedly scheduled to be at the upcoming Bound for Glory event for Impact Wrestling. However, there’s been a lot of debate backstage on the best way to utilize him for the event. One apparent idea is for him being added to the Eli Drake vs. Johnny Impact match. Another apparent idea that’s been discussed for the event is to have him referee that match as well.

The hope is that Impact Wrestling wants El Patron to make a big splash for his return, and the company wants to get as much out of it as possible.

– More tickets are reportedly set to be released for Bound for Glory once production for the event is finalized. That will likely be done by Monday. The event is scheduled for November 5 in Ottawa, Canada.

– According to PWInsider, there was talk over the last week that Don Callis (aka Cyrus) left NJPW in order to move to Impact Wrestling. Callis had previously been working for NJPW as an English commentator. It’s currently unknown what type of role Callis might have in the promotion.
