Isiah Kassidy Says Winning AEW Tag Team Titles From Young Bucks Was a ‘Full Circle Moment’

Isiah Kassidy recently reflected on Private Party’s AEW Tag Team Championship win over the Young Bucks as a “full circle moment.” Private Party beat the Bucks for the titles at AEW Fright Night Dynamite on October 30th, and the team was a guest on Talk is Jericho where Kassidy spoke about the win.

“I knew when the Bucks won the championships, whenever they did, I knew in my head that it would be a perfect full circle moment if we beat the Bucks for the championships,” Kassidy said (per Fightful). “When we first came, we beat the Bucks to advance in the tournament and nobody expected it. That was our breaking out moment.”

He continued, “I was like, ‘It would be a Cinderella moment if we did it again, but this time actually win the AEW Tag Team Championships.’ I think it was a beautiful story we could have told. I’m glad the way we worked out. Even though it took five years, I feel like it worked out perfectly.”

Private Party will defend their titles in a four-way match at AEW Full Gear next weekend.
