Jacy Jayne Reportedly Discussed For WWE Main Roster Call-Up

Another NXT star has reportedly been talked about for a possible move to the main roster, specifically Jacy Jayne. Fightful Select reports that the current NXT Women’s Champion has been talked about for a potential move to Smackdown or Raw.

According to the report, higher-ups in NXT believe that she did well in rising to the occasion presented to her in 2025. Jayne rose to the top of the NXT women’s division when she defeated Stephanie Vaquer for the NXT WOmen’s Title in May. She held the title for 150 days before losing it to Tatum Paxley at NXT Halloween Havoc. She won it back 24 days later at NXT Gold Rush night one.

Jayne also held the TNA Knockouts World Championship in 2025, winning it as part of the NXT and TNA crossover. She held that title for 35 days.

The report notes that Fightful was informed back in August of 2022 that Jayne made a good impression during her debut appearance on the brand. That match saw Jayne and Gigi Dolin defeat Natalya & Sonya Deville in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Tournament. Fightful Select says that there has been “semi-regular” discussions about calling her up since.
